Be careful what you wish for, Hunky - the main complaint of those on the EastEnders and Corrie threads is that there are too many characters, which leads to too many storylines.

Interesting. In my mind I was just contrasting the minimal cast list of Mum with the hugely over the top like looking through a telephone directory cast list of GoT and decided I prefer the minimal one then I know who everyone is. Does rely on very good story lines and character building for everyone though.

I want Gaskell to get found out...
.. And they CAN'T get rid of Jac as the Fletch storyline hasn't finished yet.... And when did Zosia stop caring... And Hanssen just needs to play some more chess with that therapist, start to work through his grief and then get an interior designer on his dark walled rooms.
Oh and I don't mind if Essie goes...

I think Jac will be back. God I hope so.

I just read Sue Haasler's book about Holby City. It's called Behind the Screens. She did an interview with Rosie Marcel who said she has no plans to leave. She does talk about her daughter a lot so maybe Jac going on leave is for her to spend some time with her.

Jac won't leave...money for old rope playing the same 'Jac in a strop being rude to people' part over and over again.....her character has been going on for too long.

Never thought I would say this but Fletch makes me cringe now, he is such a drip around her and it just doesn't ring true. They have known each other for a long time, why the sudden interest? not as if they have anything in common. He is all about his kids (well he was...) and she doesn't even like her own let alone anyone elses! Fletch should marry whoever the long suffering woman who looks after his kids all hours is!!

Fletch was wet even when he was angry and as if he would chat about it all and take advice from patients. Found it hard to watch. I like him normally though.

Why would u only listen to one sentence if u had the dictaphone as well?! U bang on about how u want to know what he's thinking then listen to him state one fact and press stop. Ok then.

No picking on Fletch.

Haven't you ever just spent so much time with someone and then just started to see them differently? They spent more and more time together, start talking more about life, start to see a different side to them

I knew dh for 6 years and never once thought of him in that way until it popped up out of the blue and it still makes me chuckle 7 years and 2 dc later so it def happens.

I want to see them together but only if Jac is actually nice to him.

I realise this is an unpopular opinion but I think I've peak Jac-ed. One-liners, sardonic, occasional flashes of empathy with certain types of patient. Done it to death.

If this new woman is the new CEO what will HH role be? Have I missed something?

I really like the new CEO. Can't stand Gaskell though, he needs to go ASAP.

So HH could run a hospital but not really be a surgeon. Suddenly newbie can be HHJAC all in one?? Booooo. I don't like her. I want Jac.

Jury still out on newbie here, although I was quite impressed by how she dealt with Gaskell, will be interesting to see how that pans out. Fletch moping over Jac is getting slightly annoying - she needs to come back, sort him out and put newbie girl in her place ;)

Erm Gaskell isn't the one who was in the show about the single father house keeper, but he was briefly a doctor who

Isn't there four brothers ? Paul McGann is Gaskell in Holby but that is as much as I know

I only know Joe, who was in The Upper Hand, we watched it as kid

Aye none of them look like Joe but I was thinking one looked like Paul (so beautiful in Withnail)
