Stephen - in call the midwife, was Sean Reynolds in Emmerdale 2001
Joe - the upper hand, and night and day which was a soap that didn't last long in 2001
Paul - Holby and briefly doctor who
Mark - does more theatre but was in The Grand in 98 and The Manageress in 89

They were all in the hanging gale.

Gaskell is becoming increasingly manipulative and a bit of a scheming git.... hmmm... I wonder how that will all end?!

OK, Gaskell, you can run your little empire surrounded by secrecy. You can deceive Essie, massage the facts and woo the press. But hands off Ric!!!

Not only did he steal Ric's idea for his research, but he's persuaded him that leaving Holby is the best thing to do. I'm hoping Ric's going to find him out and expose him very soon. And if not Ric, then HH.

Pride comes before a fall, that's all I can say. I think Roxanna has a strong enough moral compass to stand up to him when she finds that report and Dictaphone....

I liked Gaskell at first but now he seems like a complete weasel. He does manipulation very well.

I hope you're right about Roxana and her moral compass. I am liking her more and more.

I think Roxanna suspects he’s been lying or blurring the truth and that’s why she’s joined his project. When he failed to stop immediately that the addict’s brain op went wrong, she saw through him I think.

Gaskell is so obviously dodgy it's almost cartoon-like: baddie over here! TBH I've struggled to understand a lot of what he says as he slurs his words, not what I expected from a famous actor! So he can toddle off asap.

All he needs is a cape and a moustache.

Quite enjoyed tonight's episode! Petrenko was great - in some ways she's almost like Jac.... and the cactus was funny 😂

What's happened with Had? What did I miss? Where is she and why hasn't she come back?
