So I was right. Abby is brain dead. What will happen to baby? Will they switch off machine?

Leave her in a coma for 13w and cs

or cs now and then turn off machine

Would TANYA seriously take off when both daughters in hospital

Why hasn’t lauren mentioned josh

Why havnt we seen Luke tied up

Why did fi give cafe to Kathy for £1 yet the pub for £150k

Obv the heist was for £150 so mick will do that

And if they sold for £150 what did they do with he other £100k after dog op and paying credit cards off and roof leak

Will JANE be back soon?

And bobby new head

Will wb die nye

And will kandice move to the square

If only it had been well-written, the whole 'who's got the money?' mystery might actually be compelling viewing. Instead it's just confusing and slapstick.

I'd rather see the following:
Tanya shows her face again - it just seems like really bad planning not to have accounted for JJ's other filming schedule
We find out whether JWB is dead or not
We find out where the hell Luke is - even if he has form for going awol, wouldn't his family be a little concerned at the total lack of contact over Christmas?
Someone calls Jane and tells her it's OK to come home now Max is trying to right all his wrongs. Again, if there was any kind of storyline planning they'd know that once the revenge/Weyland plan was scuppered there'd be no good reason for her to stay away. Unless there's going to be some kind of Exciting Plot Line explaining it...we can hope

The80sweregreat · 06/01/2018 16:15

Could have been bernie that switched the plaques?

nancy75 · 06/01/2018 16:34

Max wouldn’t want Jayne coming home, she’s a witness to him pushing Steven & he left her in the fire. Anything the other residents know is just second hand gossip but Jayne was an actual witness.

Weird "stuff" in the bottom of the coffin.

EASTENDERS 22 - NO SPOILERS
BadHairDay0 · 06/01/2018 16:50

Also, have they never heard of an electric screwdriver?!?!?!

Phil, Vincent, Billy, Keanu, Mick, Aiden...all handy blokes and only one tiny manual screwdriver between the six of them!

The80sweregreat · 06/01/2018 17:15

What is in that coffin? So weird. Very x files.

youarenotkiddingme · 06/01/2018 17:22

Isn't it bricks under a blanket? I assumed to give the impression of a dead body inside because of weight?

BadHairDay0 · 06/01/2018 17:50

Ah, that would make sense

Akire · 06/01/2018 18:21

Still dosnt make sense, because went to Billy’s to share out dosh. So switching money from coffin A to coffin B where immediately find out and dig up. Not so much a plan. Put in coffin C and mix things up. Better!

Can’t see Bernie switching coffins or moving a whole dead body!

QueenAmongstMen · 06/01/2018 21:35

I'm just ridiculously bored by the whole thing. I couldn't give a sh*t what's happened to the money because it's all so stupid!

I wish the damn storyline would just come to an end so that Eastenders can get themselves back on the right track!!

Theshipsong · 06/01/2018 22:21

But the only person who saw the money was Aidan. He got the safe, he stuck the money in a coffin and he closed the coffin, then he opened it.

Surely the others will just assume it was him. Vincent and Phil seem to have doubts about him.. Vincent is shifty, he could do with the money to 'buy back' the Albert from Aidan and using Aidan's own money would be revenge. Phil might have done it just for old time's sake to prove he could still do it but surely the most obvious person for all the others to blame is Aidan.

Or did I zone out while the others did some of the above. Possibly

ImGoingForATwix · 06/01/2018 22:30

Phil sounded really annoyed with Aiden at the end of Thursday night's episode when he was left in the grave. I don't think Phil is in on it... but I do think that was him finally realising what he had maybe suspected the past few episodes - that Aiden had screwed them all over.

On the other hand, there is scope for a Phil/Jay/Ben plot 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jassylaunderette · 06/01/2018 23:10

What a daft storyline that was. Mick with his gun wound writhing on the pub table Hmm. The dummy falling out of the coffin was just unnecessary. If I want to watch slapstick I'll start watching Coronation Street or buy panto tickets!

The money's probably fallen into one of the gaping plot holes. I couldn't really care less and am very close to giving up watching for good.

tobee · 07/01/2018 00:29

troodie I read that as "as long as keanu gets his out" Blush Need new glasses.

troodiedoo · 07/01/2018 07:18

@tobee Grin we'll that would fit in with the new carry on theme they've got going on!

BadHairDay0 · 07/01/2018 09:17

I'm a lifelong EE watcher but have even thought about starting something like Corrie or Emmerdale recently (which I've never even watched a single episode of before)!

Jassylaunderette · 07/01/2018 10:40

It used to be good drama. Too many ‘comedy’ characters and diversions at the moment. It’s very lightweight too.

Figgygal · 07/01/2018 11:39

I'm still working through the new year backlog only an hour to go but would quite happily never leave it

The80sweregreat · 07/01/2018 12:50

Emmerdale is meant to be good - i really cba to trawl though wikipedia to get up to date with the characters and who is who! thats the trouble with the these soaps that have been on for years, its not something you can just start to watch without some background to it all.

SergeantFredColon · 07/01/2018 13:10

Don’t watch Corrie it’s even more stupid than Enders. Murders blackmail affairs galore in a tiny backstreet.

The80sweregreat · 07/01/2018 13:13

More humour in Corrie I’ve heard? I watched years ago then gave up in 89. I wouldn’t have a clue these days.

gingercat02 · 07/01/2018 13:18

Wow finally caught up (I've been a week behind since early Dec) but sort of wished I hadn't bothered makes more sense on here than the bloody programme did. I've watched since EE started but it's really trying my patience now 😡

MustRememberTheLInFingerling · 07/01/2018 13:20

I obviously snorted zee through some bits - RB sold the bar to Aidan? How and when did that happen?

MustRememberTheLInFingerling · 07/01/2018 13:20

Snoozed not snorted bee Confused

MustRememberTheLInFingerling · 07/01/2018 13:21

Snorted zee even. I should probably go and find my glasses...
