I've been watching the old Christmas episodes on iplayer and I amazed by how much the sets have grown. For example the kitchen in the vic looks double the size it used to be.

Laughed at "Coiled Cobra" on Kim's head. I can't help thinking all that hair must really hurt, it looks so heavy! I never realised what little legs Kim had until I saw her sitting on the toilet floor.
A bitter sweet scene as that's where she gave birth to Pearl. Agree with others, I'd like to see more of Kim (storyline wise).

Kim’s hair does look heavy! I loved Dee’s leather trousers and want to have her figure. I would need a personal trainer every day for a year., probably.

Our bins were oddly collected on xmas eve (also a sunday) but I did not know about it and didn't put them out. DH had to take rubbish to the dump himself or we would have overflowed and caused another epidemic of the black plague. That could be another whole episode for EE.

I actually did a dump run between Xmas and new year as my usually collection is Monday. So it was collected weds after Xmas nicely filled. Then thought it wouldn't be collected until this Monday and even though 12 days it wouldn't hold all sorted stuff (so binned stuff replaces with Xmas newbies!) and usual rubbish.

Except I misjudged and now have just 1 bin bag in there and probably will only have 2 more by collection.

I think Phil stayed at the grave due to his connection to Billy. He seems to be softening three days, and he knows that Billy will take the blame for this, even if the idiot does scarper, so he's staying there because "e's faaaamilee," and doesn't want to leave Billy in the shit alone.

I'm guessing Aidan never did leave the money in the coffin, just told Billy that he had. Now Aidan gets the cash to hold over Ciara, the others don't get paid, and poor old Billy gets the blame.

But it's so painfully crap. Why is Vincent hanging around to get paid? Surely if Aidan is going to take the proceeds from the sale of the Albert from him, to believe he would first pay him for this job in the meantime is ridiculous.

I bet Michelle will be back just in time to babysit Louise and Denny again, whilst Sharon and Phil disappear off for a couple of months.

Re watched the robbery Aiden was stood by garage door throughout. While all others covering faces. Just why? Bad enough doing it outside your own business but he seems to be there but not so anything. Ditto digging up coffin surely all could do quickly with torch light no need for car light.

Least they are mentioning Tanya in passing now maybe the baby will be adopted and she pick it up and we never see. Surely they would name the baby by know. Abbie seems a good choice!

Would make sense from a plot point of view - Mick spiked Billy’s drink, he can buy back the Vic; just wondering whether Vincent and Keanu will get a hand out. Of course, if it’s a logical scenario plot-wise, it’s guaranteed not to happen

I didn't see the ending so I don't know what was in the coffin that was ridiculously dug up. Eastenders scriptwriters, what have you done to a once great soap!!

Ben and Jay were talking at office so could have noticed and twigged and switched. Feel sorry for Billy, bad enough if you caught digging up a coffin but for a funeral director to do it surely you lose your lisceince and break far more laws to do with dead bodies. Even if has a “opps we buried wrong body” story. It’s going to end the business.

Could be Jay but Mick would make much more sense... Aiden drew him into the heist, then cut him out, leading to Mick spiking Billy’s drink so he could get back in. He then got shot when it went tits up and couldn’t even go to hospital to get stitched ... and of course he need the money to keep his family in the Vic. And Billy could do with the money too; the funeral directors has been in money trouble in the past (god knows why with the steady stream of custom just from the Square) and Aidan was playing him too- treating him like the idiot he is...I reckon Mick needs to come out of this as the winner; he deserves it, those Carters have had a hell of a time since moving into the Square- Linda raped by Mick’s brother, Mick discovering Shirl is his mum, aunt Babe’s scheming, Lee’s depression and divorce, Nancy’s car accident, Linda’s cancer scare, being screwed over by Weyland and Sausage and Mick both getting shot.

It doesn't seem like something Jay would be bothered doing but as I said, nothing makes sense. He seemed to accept very calmly when Phil asked him were they okay, following Max's revelation that he had got Phil to lie to Jay about who his dad is.
