It's an insult to the intelligence of the viewers. And as has been said, there are so many possibilities for good storylines just being shoved aside for this heist nonsense.

I wonder if her and the other lamebrains responsible for writing the crap this week on contract and can't be fired or something.

Even my DH, who maintains a dignified silence whilst glued to EE and has done for the 20 years we've been together (and shoots me death glares if I speak) announced that this is an utter pile of shit.

I am trying to remain positive. Let's close off all these dead end avenues, clear up all the shoite and finish the heist bollocks, and get back to the EE we know and love.

The thing is when this plot came about I was genuinely looking forward to it. I mean EE used to do gangster stories really well with the Mitchell brothers, Steve Owen, Dan sullivan, andy hunter, Johnny Allen, etc. This is more akin to a carry on sketch. I'm so disappointed.

The only thing that makes sense is Aidan has the money, he’s set Phil up to be arrested ( I bet Aidan phoned the police while the others were digging) Phil is the only one that would really go after him if he didn’t get his share, Mick’s no gangster, Keanu is an idiot & Vincent is shittiing himself. billy is too stupid to even worry about.
If it’s a big set up Aidan gets the cash, gets the ex wife back on side by blaming Phil & gets away with it all because he employed a gang of idiots.

Have the writers forgotten about Luke, Bens lover? Phil took him for a ride in the back of the van. What happened to him and why hasn't anybody questioned this?

Agree about Tanya! It would explain why she's never been seen again. Don't blame Jo Joyner if that's the case. Maybe explains why jane hasn't returned too.

Also agree that EE used to do gangster stories and bad guys really well. Even when Aidan was about to shoot Vincent, there was no real tension or feeling like he'd go through with it. He doesn't have enough menace.

Doesn't Mick need the £150k for the pub though? If he doesn't get his share how are they going to play that story out? Not that anyone seems to be interested in kicking them out now. Unless the uncle (JWB's brother I think) turns up.

I'm with Nancy and rusty re Tanya - she definitely agreed to come back then when she rocked up for work took one look and said I'll stay for today so as not to waste my cab fare but that's your lot!

Phoenix - you are silly! Luke is still cable tied to the chair in the industrial unit waiting for someone to remember him/notice he's missing, he's probably a bit peckish now though, maybe Aidan has thrown him an occasional bag of wotsits and a fruit shoot? Or perhaps we are actually supposed to think Aidan's heavies killed him (although not bloody likely if halfwit was involved). Wasn't Sausage calling the police - although how anyone knew where they were is anyone's guess!

I'm quite glad it's not on tomorrow - going to see something more realistic at the cinema- Star Wars! Maybe on Monday someone will wake up and the past week will have been a bad dream, we can only hope ......
