So I was right. Abby is brain dead. What will happen to baby? Will they switch off machine?

Leave her in a coma for 13w and cs

or cs now and then turn off machine

Would TANYA seriously take off when both daughters in hospital

Why hasn’t lauren mentioned josh

Why havnt we seen Luke tied up

Why did fi give cafe to Kathy for £1 yet the pub for £150k

Obv the heist was for £150 so mick will do that

And if they sold for £150 what did they do with he other £100k after dog op and paying credit cards off and roof leak

Will JANE be back soon?

And bobby new head

Will wb die nye

And will kandice move to the square

The most entertaining thing about all of this is reading people's comments on twitter. Everyone is either confused as hell or furious!

LineysRunes · 04/01/2018 20:43

Oh, is that why Kim Revill has taken her account down? Tbf, she shouldn't have to do that. It's just EE.

youarenotkiddingme · 04/01/2018 20:43

It was a touching scene between Ian and Max. That was realistic. They have their differences but it's totally conceivable that they would bond over wealth if daughters - because Ian can empathise.

QueenAmongstMen · 04/01/2018 20:51

It just gets so bizarre.

I find the flicking between normal life scenes (people in the pub, hospital, in houses etc) and scenes of the most ridiculous criminal activity very confusing. It's like I'm watching two completely separate programs and it's just nonsense.

The writers really have lost the plot now.

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 20:51

Why was Kim ringing Vincent when he knows she isnt pregnant?

QueenAmongstMen · 04/01/2018 20:52

the80s - I thought that was weird too. Are we all supposed to ring our partners to inform them our period has arrived now?

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 20:55

Queen, i agree, its like two soaps running at once. Trying to compete with netflix isnt the way to go. ( as someone said up thread)
The lawyer in the car was strange and still no sign of Tanya.
Seeing the Doctor outside too, whats the chance of that happening in real life?

MrsJayy · 04/01/2018 21:04

Anybody got a hankering for a story about BINSGrin

LineysRunes · 04/01/2018 21:06

Can't the actors at any point say to the director, 'this doesn't make any fecking sense'?

QueenAmongstMen · 04/01/2018 21:06

I also found it odd that there didn't seem to be any nurses in the Neonatal Unit and Ian could just wander in - surely only immediate family can go into the babies and I imagine they should be stringent on infection control due to the vulnerability of the babies?

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 21:09

Mrsjayy. My bins were collected today...duf duf duf.
They should have binned these episodes!

nancy75 · 04/01/2018 21:13

Well In a shock twist worthy of a diff duff my bins didn’t get collected today & I thought they would beShock

nancy75 · 04/01/2018 21:16

What annoys me is that this heist stuff is so unnecessary. They’ve got all the Branning stuff going on, they could be doing a lot better with that, then Kim losing the baby - why’s that just like a side plot? They didn’t even wrap the JWB stuff up properly, is he dead? Where the f is Luke?

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 21:16

Nancy, its the holidays messing up the days. They are a day late. Check the council websites. Its all on there.
My dh even printed it off. He is obsssesed with the 3 bin rotation round here.

youarenotkiddingme · 04/01/2018 21:17

Kim said she/ they thought they had done it (got pregnant) but turns out she was late.
So think she was ringing Vincent to tell him she wasn't pregnant.

The whole thing about Carmel being "sister from another mister" was odd. She's meant to be one of Dee's closest friends yet was saying she wasn't the best sister. And had the audacity to call her judgemental!

BreconBeBuggered · 04/01/2018 21:17

For once DS2 didn't drive me mad glancing at a show he doesn't really watch and asking me what was going on. The answer was always the same: nobody knows, not even the scriptwriters.

nancy75 · 04/01/2018 21:18

80s we usually have Wednesday bins so I thought today was a safe bet! Turns out it’s tomorrow, by the sound of the wind outside most of its probably blown away now anyway!

nancy75 · 04/01/2018 21:19

Carmel & Dee are definitely frenemies!

youarenotkiddingme · 04/01/2018 21:21

Your right about the scope available for the believable storylines.

Friend/relative brain stem dead, coming to terms with it, custody of newborn who's parents are both deceased etc.

Miscarriage and trying for rainbow baby. Difficulty in conceiving after miscarriage.

Affairs and building family relationship again.

Toddler with life threatening medical condition.

Families living in poverty and changing it around.

It doesn't even need to be all PSA - there's
plenty of potential emotion and drama without making it unrealistic

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 21:21

I was a womble yesterday , most of christmas tat was over my garden. Filling up my bins with other people's wrapping paper and crap. Not happy.

youarenotkiddingme · 04/01/2018 21:22

We are lucky we have a bin shed - wooden garden bench did a burton down the garden and the fence ended up in the neighbours garden though!

nancy75 · 04/01/2018 21:25

Don’t worry my rubbish it weighed downGrin our bloody neighbours have a very overfull skip on their drive & stuff keeps flying off everywhere Angry

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 21:27

There is so much potential for proper stories i agree. Kim and her story, max about to lose Abi, who is going to care for the poor orphan child? Arthur and his health worries. So much material. Sort it out writers.

LineysRunes · 04/01/2018 21:28

I love that expression, 'went for a burton'! Wonder where it came from?

The80sweregreat · 04/01/2018 21:31

I like that expression too! A lot come from the middle ages i believe. Nothing to do with Burtons the mens clothing range? Or Richard Burton?
