It didn't fail they definitely took something from the van and stashed it in arches. Then Aidan had disappeared with it when police opened garage.

It was apparently in a coffin - however - as predicted looks like they cremated it and the MIL didn't!

I’m starting to think they are just taking the piss out of us. Maybe it’s a competition to see who can write the worst storyline ever seen on TV & still have viewers. Tonight’s effort was on a par with El Dorado

Any last respect I had for the writers has now gone after the horrific ending to that episode.

How can they expect us to take anything seriously? It was just ridiculous.

I've no criminal experience but I'm fairly confident I could pull off a more convincing heist with my mum and her cat.

As well as the really odd storylines the writing seems quite crude at the moment as well. And none of it goes together very well - agree with previous poster that the scene between Ben and Jay about Abi looked shoehorned in.

Also sure that Lauren’s shattered pelvis/broken spine wouldn’t allow her to sit upright in a chair for hours at a time and not a morphine drip in sight!

The Aidan storyline is ridiculous. I can't understand the ex girlfriend/policewoman/person stolen from or whoever she is. A robbery in broad daylight? Revenge for his brother? Mick taking paracetamol after being shot. Really? Keegan letting off fireworks as warnings, more fireworks to blow up the pub cellar door. The women having some sort of tea party while it was all going on. The only part I laughed at was Linda saying 'you're making us sound like gangsters'.

Maybe it all makes sense and I missed it because I couldn't follow it

I do not like the tone of the writing with all this sex talk - its not on for so early in the evening and very crass. I know that EE has thrived on affairs and unwanted pregnancies and all the rest, but its not normally as crude about it.
anyway, i think that Phil will save the day here. He has Aidan's measure and will double cross him.

I think Kellie Bright simply hasn’t “snapped back” to her pre pregnancy figure. So, just like a normal person rather than a celebrity. I think that’s why her outfits have been so odd.

Its nice to see a woman with just a normal figure, Kellie bright isnt that big and she hasnt long had a child either. I am not keen on some of her outfits, but she looked lovely in pink the other day and carries it all off rather well I think, just normal. i wished i had her figure. her character does annoy me, but she is looking out for her family and thats good.
lets hope they can keep the pub!
