Obviously Linda will find it, what with her banging on about guns all the time (as you would, if two if your most elderly, jovial customers had managed to inexplicably shoot your son in the chest); and perhaps the Linda and Mick love story will finally fade into a sea of crushed hopes and dreams as Mick is locked up sobbing and Linda becomes a glass collector at the Last Post in Southend.

Thanks to whoever mentioned that old Christmas episodes were on iplayer. I've just watched the 2009 Christmas episode when Archie Mitchell was bumped off by the Queen Vic bust. It was great tv, although some of the acting was decidedly ropey (nothing changes). What struck me most though was the number of characters in that episode that have since been killed off - Bradley, Roxy, Ronnie, Charlie Slater, Hev, Peggy Mitchell, Jim Branning, Lucy Beale...Albert Square is definitely bad for your health!

yep, when Archie was killed by Stacey it was compulsive viewing, Janine tried to sell the Vic then as well. It didnt happen then and it wont happen now i bet..

I think it was mentioned that Luke had form for going AWOL when he met a new guy. For someone so ‘busy’ he certainly spent a lot of time in Bens. Would a wealthy ex crime go to the police or would he get a private detective involved? Although WB and Fee aren’t around at the moment, you’d think there would be somebody asking questions about Luke. I think Fee will end up killing WB in revenge for her mother. It would be fitting if it happened in the Vic where Archie died. Maybe she will spot Mick’s gun and use that? And somehow get caught in the crossfire herself? Maybe Max will lose the plot altogether and kill her? As Lauren and Josh are hanging around until the NY and the Carters have until the 3rd January (I think?) it has to happen before then. Realistically the pub sale would still go ahead as a company was buying it but I suppose Josh will save the day as the surviving member of the family and dramatically tear up the papers or just verbally tell them —as you do— that they have their pub back.

PS This is just my theory,

little, that sounds good - you said about JWB and the pub - it would be better if he met a sticky end in the Albert, as that is where the Dagmar used to be.
