Also, the reality of being carer for two boys with ASD is being glossed over. The school routine alone is quite a significant challenge. Food can be a challenge. Any changes e.g. moving house would definitely be a challenge. Clothes and hair and many other things can be a challenge.

Am I really sad to say that a tear rolled out of my eye when Carmel said she still loved Max? I was treated horribly (emotionally) by someone who I really loved and to this day, my heart jumps a little if I hear his name although it is many years since I have seen him.

Carmel can't go to the police because she took her laptop home with the intention of letting Max access it. Although he decided he wasn't going to let her lose her job (although lying for months and pretending he was going to move in with her was apparently ok), he shagged Fee in Carmel's kitchen and she stole the information from the laptop. Carmel would never be able to prove that though.

Yeah the whole pub interview was baffling. Surely you would check the place out first, go and visit if possible. Even if they didn’t have time to do that, have they never heard of Google??
And yeah it was painfully obvious that the space nicking guy would be the interviewer.
And they interviewed terribly. How on earth were they offered the job at all, let alone on the spot!

I am actually a bit tired of Kathy and this story line - I understand why she feels this way and him coming back to the square has dragged it all up for her, but i wish that the writers would have some closure soon for all our sakes! Just get him to confess then just die a painful death.
The interview was terrible - yeah, i'll say a few poignant things and get the job, just like that! if life were that easy eh?
