I thought she was going to become a bit of a 'national treasure', along the likes of Julie Walters, but she's coming across as a bit undignified at the moment. The show was embarrassing and I think the BBC only agreed to it because she is popular. She may be grieving, but losing an elderly parent isn't something unusual that most people don't deal with. Better to grieve in private, she's an actress, we don't need to know everything about her private life.
