Anyone watching? Ok this is really mean but she doesn't look her best. Her hair and make up are not flattering.

@mrsjay are you really shocked? For all the excitement on tje feminist boards and the LTB scripts handed out on this website clearly some women live up to the bitchy stereotype and just can't help themselves. Maybe that's why dadsnet didn't take off - i can't see men writing shit like this. Vile.

MrsJayy · 06/11/2017 13:05

Maybe shocked wasn't the right word saddened and disgusted is probably better Women tearing Women down to fat and ugly is depressing

vjg13 · 06/11/2017 13:16

It was a very dated weird programme.

hellsbells99 · 06/11/2017 13:26

I think she is great ......but I hated the tattoos
There agin, I hate most tattoos

hellsbells99 · 06/11/2017 13:27

I would also think the tattoos are going to limit further work, particularly as she has had them done on her hands where you can't cover them up

MrsJayy · 06/11/2017 13:35

There is stage cover make up for Tattoos i don't see how it would hold her back

mydogisthebest · 06/11/2017 14:29

I didn't like the tattoos but then I hate tattoos. Yes, if needed, she could cover them with makeup. Julie Graham has horrible tattoos and I have seen her in things where you can't see them

squoosh · 06/11/2017 14:52

Tattoos won't necessarily hold an actor back but there must be times when they're in the makeup trailer having them all covered up that they think 'I could have had an extra hour in bed instead of this'.

Walnutwhiplash · 06/11/2017 15:53

She's an incredibly talented and versatile actor - she's come a long way since 'wafer thin ham'

Gemini69 · 06/11/2017 16:40

she's CRACK-A-LACKIN Glitterball Star

YouthsAStuffWillNotEndure · 08/11/2017 09:36

My favourite TV thing she was in recently was "The 12 Days of Christine", one of the best episodes of the series Inside No. 9 - her performance was brilliant and so poignant; I watched it several times and it made me tearful every time.

CoolCarrie · 08/11/2017 22:01

12 days of Christine was brilliant, and she was great in it.

louise5754 · 11/11/2017 20:05

What was this programme for? I don't get it?

SSYMONDS · 11/11/2017 20:07

What a horrible thread to start. She’s beautiful, and an exceptional actor. And he commitment to her work goes beyond wanting to look cute - her work on the c-word proved that.

DenPerry · 12/11/2017 07:55

I put on 6 stone after my dad died so she’s doing well in comparison (this is after avoiding weight gain in two pregnancies!) Life happens, no-ones perfect... She’s a brilliant actress.

WipsGlitter · 12/11/2017 08:22

She may be beautiful and talented but she’s obviously vulnerable and grieving as well.

She would be better concentrating on getting well than doing shite like this. How on earth did it get commissioned?

She should also lay off the Botox as well which will make her performances less authentic.

Gemini69 · 13/11/2017 12:17

it was promotional to the release of her Album... which is in the Top 10 today Flowers

MrsJayy · 13/11/2017 12:19

Maybe this album is helping her get well perhaps she wanted to get back out there I don't think it is for us to say how she should grieve

Fresta · 13/11/2017 13:22

It's not for us to say how she should grieve. But it is for us say whether we enjoyed watching her displaying her grief. After all, she made a show for us to watch so we are allowed have an opinion on all aspects of that show.

I clicked on the title expecting an uplifting thread about one of our most talented theatre performers. How utterly depressing that a bunch of small minded bitches want to pick apart Sheridan and judge her not on her performance but on her appearance. I don’t care about your views of her hair, make-up, clothes and weight!

This thread is shallow and sad.

Blackandpurple · 18/11/2017 21:28

Im watching it now and she certainly is an amazing singer and actress. But the make up is not doing her any justice.

dantdmistedious · 18/11/2017 22:14

She looks like a different woman tonight. Good on her.

Fresta · 18/11/2017 22:25

Her hair and make-up are much better tonight.

Teenageromance · 18/11/2017 22:53

What a shocking thread - she looks gorgeous and is very real and talented and has been very open and honest about talking about her mental health issues after her fathers death. This thread should be about how strong she is to go on performing after all she has been through - not about her appearance (and I think she looks gorgeous anyway).
