Josh is interesting insofar as he does seem to be genuine. He doesn't seem to have been involved in the family plotting... or has he? They've not made a big deal over it anyway.

Could almost understand if karen was in private rent and on job seekers she be under benefit cap. So London it’s £450week which sounds a lot but she could be paying say £300 week to landlord for 3-4 bed flat. And only have £150 left for everything.

But she’s in council housing so say max £100 week rent. She’s not under benefit cap because of disability benefits and CB and tax credits are around 70per child. So 4 kids plus carers is £320 a week. No rent as full housing benefit. Plus let’s say boys have low care and mo iloty dla so another £60 a week and could be more. We know she’s a carer or job centre be on her look for a a job and have to sign on all time, and to qualify for carers you have receive least middle rate of DLa.

Plus any maintence for any of kids. So best part of £400 a week. Yet can’t put £20 a week on electric meter? Plus the oldest is getting job seekers so he has money to put in for living cost. It’s just annoying. All we have to look forward to is them

How would Keanu get carer’s allowance? Only one adult could get that. It seems Keanu isn’t getting any sort of benefit. Would he be entitled to something? He is over 18/not in education etc.

Would you really get a three/four bed flat for 300 a week in London? That seems low seeing from how quickly Josh can spin over to Lauren’s house, they are practically within walking distance from Shireditch!!!!

He could theory get carers because even if you have more than one person who needs care you still only get one set of carers allowance. But you have to be 18to get. So if you are child carer you get zero. If he claimed carers, one twin and Karen the other it work out slightly less than JSA (but with income support tip up) but importantly he would not have to go via job centre hoops.

I think in end he did decided to claim JSA? What did he do his apprenrship thingy in? Seems funny not even looking work in that area.

Careers allowance is for each person cared for. If 2 disabled residents then 2 people over 18 can both be carers if neither earn above the threshold.

Josh is based at Canary Wharf. Is Walford based near Stratford? It wouldn’t take long to get there on the Jubilee line.

The way that Luke, Josh Max and Lauren - when she does go in- get to and from work in no time at all is a mystery - i know that its not far from Stratford, but they still have to get the tube then walk up to the office etc - max said he was driving up there once and showed up about five minutes later - no clue where he would park so close to the office. They do whizz around really fast in EE ( sometimes!)

I was on the tube the other day and was working out how long it would take to get from Walford (Bromley by Bow) to Canary Wharf. Dlr from Bow Road looked the quickest.
