I'm away at moment so havnt managed to watch any EE 🙀🙀🙀

But gather from 18 that we now know

Fi and Clarke kent are siblings

Linda hasn't told nick about her cancer

Will lauren find out Stephen lied

And that her sister abi is preg with his baby

What will happen to jane and max

Will there be a funeral for Stephen

What else is happening?

I was outraged by the 999 call re Tom - seriously? Also unplugging your phone doesn’t give the unobtainable tone when you call it - it just rings out. Also why was Robbie looking so terrified about looking after the cat - he used to have a dog and cats are easier to look after than dogs. Not even bothering to comment on Mock n ‘L’ - just rubbish Angry

I reckon Linda will fall ill and be close to death, then Mock will show up and give a heartfelt speech along the lines of ‘L, I love yaaaaa, your me jacknife’ and all will be well.

If I wrote for EE I’d do a bottle episode where Mick and Linda have a dinner party with Whitters and Woody, and it’s in the style of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. But cockney.

I am confused about Gethin, I find his facial expressions hard to read: are we supposed to assume that he fancies Bex or not?

I think that Gethin does like Bex, but trying to play it cool as he knows his job is on the line if he does pursue her. sonia has ditched him now though, so maybe he will disappear.
(its only a guess mind, as Gethin doesnt have that many facial expressions to work with)
L and Mick - tiresome, all this in and out with one bag or suitcase.
I am beginning to think they are both unhinged.

I guess the unobtainable tone was poetic license to make it clear he couldn't get through.

I'm going to cut squinty eyed Mock slme slack over the Linda thing because she made a huge thing about him having lied to her. She insisted they talk it through with a counsellor, putting all the blame on him, yet she lied about the cancer and about her mother being so ill.

soup, i see your point about Mick, and she was stupid not to tell him about the operation and why she was still with Elaine, didnt come home etc etc, But, i also think this is just a ruse to get mick and whitney to have a full blown affair and they are going about it in their usual cack handed way!
Where did Tom find a red phone box that still works? The police wouldnt come to my home around these parts, it would be ' drop us an email or call into the station or nothing we can do , sorry' i bet!

I did rIse an eyebrow at Ted's change of attitude but I wondered whether talking to Patrick and finally telling someone was a weight off his mind and (PSA Alert!) made him see that talking is a good thing. Patrick didn't judge him.

Linda usually wears nice tops, but that skirt last night was awful - looked like the curtains that Maria uses in the 'sound of music' for the children to play in! where do they find these hideous clothes from , or are they made by the costume designers?

Patrick is very good at being everyone's sounding board and admits he has made mistakes in his past , so he is good at not judging people when they tell him their woes. his a good egg.
I did wonder about the passports though, surely the Spams wouldnt have one since their arrests? he didnt even mention that, or visas.
i wasnt sure if he meant go abroad though , i tend to zone out when they are on sometimes, but he was waffling on about something and moving away.

It did seem funny seeing someone in a phone box with a phone in it that works. years ago they were either vandalised or full up with dodgy adverts and stunk of bodily fluids and ripped up phone books. Walford is not that rough then!

You can get oz visas online it's pretty straight forward but you need a passport and if someone was on bail for attempted murder and perverting justice they 99%would have had to give up their passports to stop them leaving the country and evading justice. Its ridiculous

Anyway everyone knows in EE you don't need passports, visas or even money to go anywhere. When Lauren was going, it was like she was getting a bus into town instead of taking a baby on a twelve hour flight.
