Will there be a funeral for Stephen

What else is happening?

I think had Mr & Mrs Spam because short of Patrick and Dot no one was over 50. They seem to be developing their story slow, all chat about never seen children and grandchildren and his “problems”. If you had been traumatised for 50y because you were made to shot someone why would it give you comfort to keep a loaded gun in your living room?

Has Sausage given up his Law career before its began? Or is he just waiting for the baddies plot to become clear whereupon he will be maning the baracades at the community centre and heading up the peasent revolt.

place bets, how is Mik going to take cancer news? Will he hold Linda and say he do all he can or will he kick off in a true all about me strop and not be able to cope.

Not sure about Carmel’s story tonight. Why would she stay with someone like that? If he was 5 then least 15y between him and his brother so she stayed that long? Like suddenly developing a poor me back story. All she ever done is hint that he went off with a women and she left.

Oh just thought maybe Babe will be back for bonfire night —Mik can do his geezy London act— she can do some sort of explosion at Vic to back up the “structural damage” the baddies will find.

I hope that the Spams do clear off to Australia and do us all a favour!
would be great to see Babe back - maybe in disguise at the Vic halloween party , then the big reveal.
I wasnt convinced by Carmel and her sudden revelations, i thought he had just done a runner with another woman too.
Not sure how Mick will react to L ' keeping it from him' - most people would be sympathetic ( if a bit puzzled) but Mick isnt known for rational thinking sometimes. Where is Ollie ?Denny seems to have disappeared too.

Talking about age on here, i was 20 when EE started in 1985!!
Not always been such an avid watcher, dipped in and out in the 90s and 00s ( had to have videos sent over from the Uk when i lived abroad for a while in the 'but i am your muvver days ) , then really got back into it from 2010 onwards.

The Carmel story was clearly tacked on. She came to the Square devastated her marriage had broken down. She left Shaki and the other son who hasn't appeared yet with their father. She said he was very wealthy. It never added up why Kush ended up selling clothes (albeit a superior Italian brand originally) at a market stall when he previously had a life of privilege. Shaki settled remarkably well into school and life in Watford too.

I think they don't know what to do with the older couple. The wife whose name I can't remember hasn't had any storyline at all really. I quite like her as I think she will be good at developing a storyline given the chance but maybe she just can't make anything with the rubbish she is being given.

Why is Michelle so reluctant to report Tom. Is it in case the police look into her background? They won't do that though will they. She is not the accused party.

I hated seeing Max back at the hospital.

Carmel' s other son is called Darius.
Kush also had a wife that died ( before he came to the square and started seeing Shabnam)
Shaki and him have turned out alright ( for now anyway)
The business with Ted and Jean and the gun is very confusing - if you that upset about shooting someone, why then keep a gun? as some body else pointed out, its just madness. I dont hate the new couple, but they have had terrible storylines and really add nothing. Could you really get off a shooting by claiming PTSD? i do not know, but it might be the thing that keeps them both in the show. They are good actors, just a bit wasted on EE.

Wondering if Linda's cancer relapse might turn out to be a bad case of cystitis. It can be incredibly painful and sometimes you do pass blood. Hopefully that's all it is.

Would love to see the Spams trying to flee to Australia. As someone else said, they wouldn't get far without unless they were planning to tunnel their way down under.

Linda needs to see her GP really , or phone 111. not fanny about saying its all okay and not telling Mick the truth ( only Woody , as if you would in real life!)

The80s - I thought that too - if you’re in that much pain you don’t wait 5 weeks for an oncologist appointment because you’ve assumed it’s cancer recurring, you’d go and see a gp ffs!

I must admit when ted was talking to his instant new best friend Patrick about absconding to Oz - I was thinking oh well that’s that rubbish storyline taken care of I guess, only 42 others to sort out now

Patrick and Ted used to be pop men at the vic. I saw one of them pick up a glass once. Never seen again..

Err GP appointment? I think you’ll find the square has dispensed of the need for GPs now that Super Sonia is in residence. With her new sidekick, Bandage Bex.

In the next few days, I am betting Sonia will:

• Have a chat with Linda about cervical cancer in Kathy’s, using her advanced knowledge of oncology
• Go on a pro-NHS rant about waiting times
• Dash across the square to save Linda as she collapses
• Completely cure cancer

I found Patrick and the other fella's scene so forced and boring. Its proper Corrie territory. I just want some proper DRAMA, dammit!

I think uti too re linda. I'm 38 now and have been watching since mid teens I'm sure. My df loves EE (being a proper cockney) and he has been an addict since seeing the episode with frank and his spinning bow tie. Circa 2000.

I was 4 when it started! Watching it since mid 90's when I was at home (didn't have catch up in those days!) and missed 7 years whilst I was abroad.

So only been watching it properly since 2006!

I vaguely remember seeing EE when I was really young. Must have been mid 80s. So I’ve been a viewer on and off for 30 years. Agh.

One time that I’ve always watched the show has been Xmas day. Stayed with MIL a few years ago who has no TV, and missing EE was weird.
