80's you can't really escape it now. It's on for 6 episodes a week and the plots are as bad, if not worse, than EE!

I wonder if Wilmot Brown will introduce his children to their "new step mother" and it turns out to be Janine. Also they've adopted Babe. A coven of arseholes back for revenge.

I was really hoping (and still am) that josh wasn't involved in all this going on and is genuinely nice. And genuinely cares about Lauren. I'm probably going to be proved wrong ☹️

i could see her behind all of this with the Vic though ( with his help) She probably knew the family from her selling on babies days in Clacton and she caught up with him whilst out shopping for trifle ingredients and living in a run down council flat with nothing. He was appalled at how the Carters treated her over her nearly losing them their licence and making Mick do time for it. Together they have decide that revenge is the way to go - Max is on board to avenge his own family and Ian and Jane - Babe is purely so they can get their mitts on the pub and then have her running it for them.

Yes but this is still SOC storyline so what should happen and what will differ massively.

Maybe Babe knows him because she sold Luke and Sophie to him back in the day?

I think i just have that image of Babe cursing the pub and the carters in the rain that has made me think she might come back in it. she was very scary and menacing and made a good female baddie too -
Her running the pub would make Linda's frown go into orbit - you would not be happy at all would you? i hope they can find somewhere to live when they are out in the snow in the middle of winter!

It is cursed and the Carters havent had any luck at all since they moved in. too many things to list here , but they have had it hard when you think about it.

hate, yes, its had a chequered history - must be built on an old burial ground that was cursed by witches in the middle ages or something.

That would make a good story. WB tear down the vic to make high rise flats but accidentally disturb the dead. They rise as walkers and Walford must implement their zombie apocalypse plans to defeat them. Suddenly everyone loves Spam couple as the only gun wielding couple on the square and Spammy Ted protects everyone with his army training by putting chairs and tables up everywhere.

Ha ha, it would like that spoof zombie movie with simon pegg and nick frost - shaun of the dead ( or more like Sean of the dead..)

hate, the spams will have to go to their hoard of Spam tins and rustle up food for the them all to eat - they will have camping equipment too ( look the sort) and feed the entire square with a baby belling cooker and camping chairs for them to sit on whilst Ted spam kills all the undead.

SEAN of the dead 😂😂, brilliant! They'd have to choose who dies properly and who comes back as a zombie. Sausage would be a good zombie.

It will definitely be more entertaining than what we've been subjected to for the past year! Sean's legacy will be the bins and the magic of boiling pasta without water.

Although I have been watching religiously, I still feel like I've missed something.
Why do the wilmott browns want the carters out of the vic?
Do they all work for the same company? Is it a legit business?
Where does max fit into it all and are they all in on his revenge against the beales?
I just don't get it all

Everyone who owns the Vic has a thoroughly miserable time with barely a ray of happiness. Yet they all come back and get misty eyed about their pub. Look at Peggy. Her sons almost killed each other, she had cancer, an abusive husband, and all sorts of shit. Yet the Vic was her last visit before she died.

I want to see a Les Mis type situation with the developers. Martin, Kush and Donna leading the market traders to build a barricade. With Denny playing the cheeky little kid who gets shot. And Max as a Jean Valjean type character who turns his life around.
