The first episode I watched was the one with Roxy in the swimming pool. My head was reeling by the end. I'd been used to the Archers!

The plots are a bit annoying but I do think the acting is miles better. I like the Donna, Ben and Jay trio. Wouldn't hurt to have some more humour, just the odd throwaway line.

I'm glad they did a scene with Patrick and Ted. Both excellent actors and the storyline reflected the actual attitudes and upbringing of men of that generation.

But I agree with you about Danny Dyer. He's such a ham. And why is he the only character who uses rhyming slang. Who did he learn it from? Shirley never uses it.

Danny Dyer is just awful but always has been. It really isn't a recent turn of events.

Do even old people want to watch old people dramas though? My grandma hates them! But she fancied Stephen so has bad taste.

Visas are no problem in EE land. Want to start a new life in Florida? Yeah go on then. Want to hop on over to New Zealand with no money or discernible skills? The world is your oyster.
