Was wondering about Kush in a cage!

Sometimes that happens with the Friday/Monday episodes. They skip the weekend. Icd insertion only takes an hour and you can be let out of hospital same day so not implausible he'd be in the caff a couple of days later.

I had a pm in a few months ago and was back at work two days after!

@youarenotkiddingme in which episode did that happen? I honestly feel like an entire episode has been skipped, it's so bizarre.

It didn't happen in an episode Spanish they just explained it in today's episode when Kush and Denise were in the caff and then when he went down the hospital.

Yeah! At least with Lucy they didn't tell her cos they thought she was dead. Imagine getting back from a holiday and finding out one of your family was dead and no one called you!

I quite enjoyed episode tonight. Although overdoing all the medical stuff as per usual. Kush's engagement ring a scream. Who would wear that? I don't think Denise is taking this marriage thing seriously ...

And who did Linda's hairstyle. It was tied up like usual. Hardly Whitney?

And Bex telling Louise she was 'still' beautiful. Am I the only one who can't see any difference in how Louise looks now.

Yes, I think Phil was being a bit "pointed" and Ian has adopted Sharon as a mother figure in Kathy's renewed absense - on holiday, not dead this time. btw, since when did Sharon become the new Mother Teresa of Albert Square. Whenever there's trouble and trauma in the Square there she is to soothe everyone's nerves with her sympathetic, wise words, a look of permanent kindly "concern" etched upon her face.

So glad I'm not the only one who felt I had missed a full episode.

PS a few people have mentioned Kush''s engagement ring being naff etc. It was meant to be a bit of a joke. That's the only part I picked up from the chat in the caff. Completely missed the explanation of the gap in the episodes.

Half the Square don't seem to know about Steven as they've not mentioned it or reacted. What's happening with Jane - she seems to have been forgotten or do they only have one hospital bed so Carmel had it yesterday.

My Ds had a very unexpected cardiac arrest for similar reasons in the Summer, he was discharged a few days later, looked as fit as a fiddle, and told to carry on with life as normal whilst wearing a tiny monitor as the best way to see what's going on is to be as normal as possible . I was terrified but he seemed to take it in his stride!

To be fair , Kush did say to his mum about the ring ' its, errr, temporary'

Strangest episode ever! Good grief.

Best bit was Whitney talking sense to Lauren - telling her to sleep it off and be there for Louie when he wakes up in the morning. I thought that was actually believable emotion from them both.

Kush's crazy ring made sense in the hospital when he was showing it to Carmel saying "it's only temporary" - but I honestly thought it was his actual engagement ring before that (and men don't even have engagement rings!!! - so I really should have twigged that it was a joke, but I totally didn't).

Bizarre episode. They're clearly just trying to wipe the slate clean / quickly tie up storylines before the new producer comes in... I hope!

Mick giving Lauren evils ( before her outburst about whitney liking mick) was a bit off, he runs a pub, he must have seen lots of emotional drunk people before - plus, her boyfriend has just died too.
whitney was good with her though - louis needs his mum. even though nobody seems to care about the kids on EE.

Vincent needs some good storylines. All he does these days is make weird disapproving nods and faces at Pearl when Kim does something weird.
