I don't know how the new producer is going to sort out this messy Weyland/revenge story. It's going to come out sooner or later, but when it does surely it means Max's days in the square are over. So then what? Axe Jake Wood, one of the strongest EE actors?

I agree with 80's that Abi will tell all. She's nothing to lose by lashing out and telling people about Steven. I also think she'll blame Jane and then Jane will tell her about Max.

Did Ian bring up the baby steven as his own? now , that was an awful long time ago so i cant remember that well to be honest, but i guess he did ( for a while)?
I was trying to do the family tree in my mind's eye, but i think i would need the people from ' who do you think you are' to help me a lot with that one. Plus they then muddy the waters with parentage ( as with Jay and Jayse , although that is a lie ) it 'does me ead in' Eastenders sometimes.

I think that Abi might reveal things , but not just yet maybe? i really dont know to be honest. They have form for people keeping secrets for a while, then it all coming out in another big episode. Halloween would be good, considering how evil steven and Abi have been and still are.
My money is on Halloween.

I want Max to stay though, he does menacing really well, he can act as if its all true ( which must be hard) and i still fancy him. Dont write him out.

Is Steven definitely dead? I know doc said he was sorry but we didn't actually see him laid there and docs calling time of death. Maybe come Monday he will be resuscitated?

I quite liked crazy Steven. Technically max killed him if he is dead. I reckon Lauren and Abi will bump him off.

I just read an interview that the actor Steven describes his role as Steven as 'iconic' as Dirty Den.

I hardly remember Dirty Den but is the Dteven character 'iconic'? I'm on the fence purely because he doesn't seem to have been unit that long but he is a dark character.

He wasnt too bad, but he was not, in any way shape or form, any thing like Dirty Den! Den ( for all his faults as a real person and as his character) was a true EE legend. Steve falls a bit short of this i think.
maybe if they had kept him on and developed it a bit more , he may have reached a higher level though. I would say that Michael Moon was more of an icon than Steven was, or even Janine , who had many good moments.

Ian raised Steven as his own until he was a small boy. There was a storyline about how Steven wanted to move to live with his dad but I don't remember the kid talking about it. It was before they gave children lines in EE ...so Stevens dad is Simon Wicks, I'd like to see a return of the Wicks brothers for the funeral, that would be interesting!

It would be lovely if Paul Nicolls could make an appearance for the funeral as poor ole Joe was a Wicks as well so they must be related.

He's always worth watching!

We know that we probably won't see much of any of the actors involved this week over the next few episodes. They'll become the fillers whilst the quiet on set ones will emerge - it'll be 2018 before this weeks secrets appear!

I'd like to see the return of Joe, or Jaw as his mum called him.

Really enjoying all the far fetched drama and people getting injured left right and centre!
Completely agree that the touching Bernie and Karen scenes were overshadowed and felt shoe horned in.

I half thought that Karen and Shirley lighting up fags outside might blow up the whole square, what with the gas leak.

Favourite scenes : Abi getting donked on the head with a large pipe in the restaurant and the vacant policewoman with Ted wondering didn't he used to be a vet?...

If Jane came on here in Relationships and said how her husband (with 3 previous marriages behind him) had two sons who both tried to kill her, one of them on two occasions, what would be the advice? I think it would be 'run for your life'.

I think Vincent needs a storyline. A good one. Which doesn't involve mystery family parentage secrets (remember his mum who was dead/not dead in the basement).
What actually blew up? I didn't see any damage to homes/windows/businesses, which seems a bit unlikely, though Jay was offering to board up windows, with I presume his own personal supply of chipboard?
Why does Linda wear massive heels all day? If I was leaving my husband which amounts to apparently staying on the square wheeling around (empty) suitcases, carrying a toddler etc, I'd be in trainers!

Mrsb, if jane wrote her life on relationships , , LTB or ring the police would be the biggest response! She needs out of that crowd.
