mrsbotox that is a rubbish reply! Sadly, it doesn't surprise me though - profits before pets Sad

tbh the show totally reflects my view that many many people do not think pet ownership through. they also don't inform themselves about their pet's needs.

imo (controversial I know) pet ownership should be banned.
it's just not fair on the animals to live such sad lives.

it is really really difficult to give a pet exactly what it needs. it's time consuming and expensive. a massive committment that many people are not able to make.

I complained too.

I'm watching The Dog Rescuers on Channel 5 and they have managed better than the BBC.

The BBC just treated those poor puppies as entertainment.

I am wAtching again, Delia, what an idiot! Now she's seeing the reality of her choices, big dog not so cute now. Same with Hunter the 'therapy' dog, I am afraid this dog will be rehomed too. If they do rehome it, they shoukd not be allowed another.

I really liked the family that bought the cocker spaniel x poodle. Yes it is whats known as a designer dog but it's the only family where I felt like it wouldn't be a total disaster.

I felt really sorry for that little boy who got bullied because of his disability. Sad

I liked the rescue fami,y too, I felt they had done their research and were very sensible.

The trouble with this programme is that it seems to have gone out of its way to pick the must rubbish owners / examples of dealing with a new puppy as possible. I don't believe for a moment that the majority of owners are like this, but of course, that wouldn't make 'entertainment ', would it?

It was better this week I thought.

I covered up my rescue pup's ears when the chef said what he was bringing home for him to eat Grin.

They'd done a lot of research.
