I'm getting very cross with Isadora's mum.

These programmes drive me mad, I can't resist watching but I rant at the TV throughout.

Wanted to bang Isadora's parents' heads together.

No clue why the programme didn't mention to stupid big dog woman that no giant breed should be climbing stairs, so how does she think she's going to house train it?

No responsible breeder would hand over one of their precious puppies to someone so obviously clueless (the leonberger).

And wtf is the woman with all the little dogs doing? She had a puppy for 12 hours and has dressed it up? Ffs

I had to turn off when they were with SM advisor. That poor dog!

My dogs have won the lottery with me.

I can't believe how naive the Leonberger owner was before committing herself to owning that poor dog. Surely most people would have given it some serious thought beforehand?

Why would a responsible breeder hand over a big dog to an owner in a small flat who had the dog draped over her arm on the journey back like a fur stole. Not a great advert for the breeder.

Dalila with the Leonberger, she has no clue. Did not come prepared for the long journey. She sees the puppy as an accessory. If I were the breeder I woukd not have let her have the puppy. That Chineese family, with the Small dogs. Having problems, have to call Louise to help, and gets another one😡😡😡😡

Hopefully this programme puts off a few people from getting a pup. Not all snuggles and cuteness.

Was in hysterics when the puppy class happened. Firstly, pup wouldn't move at all - until the trainer came over and instantly got a response! And then the pup shat on the floor. Excellent.

I feel sorry for her, but even sorrier for that puppy.

I know allmaqueen as louise said she has a loud high pitch voice that can distract the pyppie. She needs less words and to he calm.

So glad there's a thread for this and somewhere to add my anger .

I had to switch off half-way through last night between the flat lady and the chihuahua owners. Both scream puppy farms/back-yard breeders to me; I'm enraged that the producers are encouraging this.

Between letting someone in a flat take a large breed (and then take it home un-crated in taxis/trains) and then giving a family 2 half-sibling chihuahua's at 22 weeks apart (IIRC) they couldn't find more text-book on the worst of dog ownership on both sides - how not to source a puppy AND who should not be allowed to have dogs.

Not to mention poor Poppy and the way the children were allowed to absolutely torment her .

We are our dog's third family - we got her at 2yo but she originally came from a byb/puppy farm - the damage it's done to her has been immense. We think/hope she has landed on her paws with us and we love her to bits, but I would give anything to change her first 12 months experience. Everything I see on this program is screaming at me that these poor dogs will be damaged long-term too .
