The trailer looks good but I've not seen the first series, will it be easy to watch without having seen it?

Certainly, if you venture not too far out of the large cities (Sydney, Melbourne) you step back several decades

The thing that disturbed me most was the students. Would a bunch of young guys, with life ahead of them, educate, money - really sit around in a coffee shop rating prostitutes? How utterly depressing if there's any truth in it.

I like to think a bunch of British guys that ae wouldn't behave like that but i'm probably kidding myself. I work in the City and have seen 45 years olds behaving like that, and way worse, but I was thinking that things were chnaging from what i'd seen of the younger guys.

I just watched 3 and 4. Puss is utterly vile(and looks like he never washes his hair, ugh) and, much as I want to slap Mary - hard - I ended up being very sorry for the stupid girl.

I've only been to Queensland and loved Brisbane but I was only mixing with educated middle and upper classes. My best friend is from there and saud out in the bush towns it's another world.

I've been absolutely haunted by episodes 3 +4 after thinking it was a bit slow at the start. Is anyone else still watching?
