HBO description of the episode: "Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) receives an unexpected visitor. Jon (Kit Harington) faces a revolt. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) plans the conquest of Westeros."

Please avoid discussing leaks and production details for Seasons 7 and 8 but speculate away on what we have learnt from the new episode and what it might mean for the rest of the Season and the ultimate winner(s) of the Game of Thrones

Is there any idea of what the spin off will be?
At the risk of sounding like I've only got one drum to bang i would like a spin off about the hound that gives him a happy ending. Obvs that's not going to happen!

Well... looks who has a flaming sword in the trailer, I was not expecting him to be quite so significant! And I am assuming that he has a flaming sword is significant.

I agree that Sansa needs to start taking responsibility I would have liked to seen Jon question her on why she didn't tell him about the nights of the vale coming to the battle of the bastards

Sansa own agenda is more forefront this season and I don't think it aligns with Jon. Their dynamic will change again when Bran/Arya return to Winterfell and Sansa isn't the only full blooded Stark there.

I also would love to see a Hound spinoff I loved the gravedigger reference last week.

I don't think that Beric will have too large a part to pay and will die this season I think the extended air time just now is make us feel a connection so that his death is more prolific. His death will also show how to kill people who have been brought back from death (i.e. Jon) and what type of death would be final

i figure that Littlefinger knows that the conventional story that Lyanna was abducted and raped by Rhaegar isn't the truth, but I don't think that he knows about Jon's parentage
