Maybe it's just me but I didn't actually feel that sorry for Linda tonight she left him for months wasn't there to help her family at time of crisis and now she's swanned back in and booted him out. I can see why he turned to Whitney tbh

Hats off to Kellie Bright for holding together what was basically a two-hander episode acting opposite a squinting walrus.

Surely Whit must know that Elaine is okay, she must have been to her pub to see Woody, you'd think.

I did enjoy Linda's "I'll rip your face off!"

I'm flummoxed about Linda's secret. Did her mother ever really fall ill, all the money she requested for her and to get home?

Abby was funny tonight, I thought. Mock is a rotten liar, or plain forgetful. He neglected to mention that he and Twitner had kissed twice. Once in the hospital after the crash, also, as you probably all remember.

I thoroughly enjoyed that episode and like the best EE two-handers, I could see both points of view. Thank goodness Kellie Bright is back. Danny's never been in the same league as KB but I thought he did OK in that episode.

Agree Kellie Bright was very good. Other actors have been away for an extended time and when they come back they take a bit of time to settle back in (imo) - they sometimes seem wooden to me, or overact it. They get out of the daily practice of it, I suppose, I don't know. But it was like Kellie had never been away - straight back into it with real emotion.

Also - Kush in strictly - woohoo!

Linda is a hypocrite if she has been hiding things too.
Going on about ' sorting things out'. the reason she couldn't come home straight away - shes had 8 months to do that.

I dont think she is ill somehow, she would have told him by now? people hiding illness has been done so many times before as well ( steven's one doesnt count here!)
I think its either a man ( although that wouldnt make sense either)
possibly that Ollie is ill ( although she would have told him)
or its to do with Elaine's mystery illness and the whole Wayland evil plot with Big and Max. My money is on that - so its probably not that !!
when will she do her big reveal i wonder??

Why did Whitney come back at all. If you fall in love and get engaged to someone who has a permanent bar manager job in Watford why the hell is she not living there. Maybe its a visa problem. New Zealand ok, watford not.

This I couldn't cope on my own issue by Mock is ridiculous. Also how on earth would he not know whatever is going on with Elaine and L in watford. He did visit occasionally (when he could get immigration clearance).

I actually enjoyed last nights episode! It felt like they were giving us both sides of a story whilst leaving many questions unanswered. Like - did Twitney not visit woody and if she did she must know Elaine is fine so why is she keeping quiet? What is L's secret she stopped herself blurring out. Why did L agree to sell the freehold of the pin without discussing it with Mock and why was her mum and pub more important than their DD in ICU?
It was a good point and great when Mock asked her about caters etc when up until now he's defended her decisions to others.
