I;m really not sure that Max knows about Lauren's statement and how she tried to help him.
I would guess that he still thinks she did nothing, hence all this with steven and making her stay with him.
It did get a bit confusing at at the time , what with Emma , the policewoman , dying ( she knew bobby did it) and lauren back and forth to NZ with Peter ( who also knows the truth). the ones he should be gunning for is Jane and Ian really - maybe the fact she is in a wheelchair is enough for him - he is getting Big the chippy too. not sure what to think, but his treatment of his own daughter isnt great.

I think he is gunning for Jane and Ian it's all part of his master plan!

Exactly Akire. Other than Stacey, she has no link to the Square anymore and why would she choose busy cousin Stacey over her mum or her soon to be husband. She is in on it for sure. Or she told Woody, who told Linda and Linda has sent her to set a trap.

The Vic sacked Sharon, Tracey and Shirley - two part timers and a full timer and replaced with part time Stacey and presumably full time Twitney. A month ago they ran theme nights to announce the opening of a letter. Now they are so busy, Twitney barely had time to drop her bags before she was needed in the bar.

I think that Twitney is up to something too.

We couldn't afford to have the number of staff they seem have at the Vic. There seemed to be as many staff as customers the other day, standing about and gassing with Twitney.

We'll rarely see Tracey now as they don't show The Albert so much.

I thought Twitney still seemed keen on Mock. Rather a revenge story than a long drawn out 'destined to be together' story between them, though.
