I love how there's always a vic storyline about someone getting fired, and then a week later they're short staffed.

Whitter's hair is that horrible cheapo purple colour. Looks like she brought the hair dye in Superdrug.

Surely the police would be much more concerned about Lisa? They were very casual about it all. Without her antibiotics Louise could die pretty quickly.

What I don't understand is how Laetitia Dean has been playing Sharon for 30 years and yet still can't act. She seems to have got worse and worse over the last 6 months. She was much better during the whole affair with Grant business years ago. It's as if she just can't be arsed anymore.

Everyone's been unrealistically blasé about Lisa's obvious unhinged-ness. If she was that disturbed, they'd notice. It either needs to be more subtle or her part or the other characters need to be worried, (but not act upon their concerns, which they can then reflect on and regret later). To have no reaction at all is irritating!

So either she's overplaying it too much, or the script-writers have been lazy. Grrrrrrr!!!

Loved seeing Max dropping Steven in it. Haha! I wasn't expecting that. Only three months to live, LOL. Presumably to force Steven to leave the square?

badhair, thank you! The thought of living my in laws would make me shudder and they are not even ex ones.
I think that Letitia Dean has just 'evolved' as Sharon over the years and now can play her in her sleep - she's not done much else since was 16 ( she was in a drama / sit com thing called the hello girls once in the 90s) and she is now a EE stalwart, so she knows she isnt going anywhere fast. I like her and Phil together - although he isnt always good to her - they seem to belong. Maybe she is just fed up with some of the crap stories - although it has got better last few weeks.
i agree about steven, 3 months is only october - maybe there will be a halloween special with max and steven, abi etc and it will all come out that he has been impersonating dog heads and isnt going to die.
at least lauren might learn to smile again!

Given the look on Stephen's face when Max said that, I think he is worried about the same thing. Probably rightly so given how underhandedly evil Max seems to have become.

Nah Max has said 3 months to force Lauren into marrying him pronto, all part of his grand revenge master plan I bet.

Also I was thinking (can you tell it's the summer hols?) about our previous musings about why the vic is part of his revenge and wondered if it's not mock and Linda (as previously discussed they didn't do anything to max during the lucy saga) I wonder if it's because Bradley jumped off the roof? Still not sure how this will all end as they can't just do away with the vic altogether - just wouldn't work. So will new bloke have the big reveal at Christmas and max will either have to be led away in a straight jacket or will copy Bradley with a roof jump, no doubt triggering Stacey to have another bi-polar crisis? Or maybe they'll run off together - Stacey has been too happy for eastenders recently after all? There's my future/Christmas predictions anyway ......

i can see him jumping over hurdles and stuff in the 'dog agility' bit.
maybe he will turn into an actual werewolf.
Can you imagine being in that predicament though- i know there have been real life cases where people have pretended to be ill in order to get others to raise money for them and it can happen, but knowing you have 3 months to come up with a reason not be dead - doesnt bear thinking about really! He looks so well too. Ian and Jane will have to know now too? Max really is mr evil ( closely followed by Abi)

iknow i didnt think of the Bradley/ Max vic roof connection - it does seem to loom large in his life what with Bradley dying up there and Stacey nearly jumping last year.
I cant see Stacey falling for him again - i agree she's been far too happy lately and not had many big stories, but i cant see her having anything to do with Max sexually. Maybe in a 'old friend trying to help him out' way.
I cant see any end to all this revenge - i did read on facebook it might go for years anyway. They might have a bit of wait for the new look square.

He is quite convincing too , the way he says things. Not as thugish as Phil, but still menacing.
Steven's face was a picture.
Poor Lauren too, stuck with him. She will be jumping off the vic roof soon if they are not careful.

thats right, mock and linda banned Max from the Vic. He was stitched up over Lucy - his revenge has been 'served very cold'!

i cant see how they can get rid of the pub , the Albert just isnt big enough for them all and its the only way of getting folk together for christmas , weddings and proposals and all sorts of things. even funerals.
Its funny how they are short staffed and want Twitney back, but they only got shot of poor old Tracey a while back.

Agree re vic staff, perhaps the Fi and Woody prediction was right, literally the day after Fi engineers Mock sacking Shurl, Twitney appears like magic. Also if twitney is engaged to woody surely she would've visited Linda's mums pub at some point and noticed that Linda's mum is perfectly well? Is twitney now in on it too? Dun dun dunnnnnnnnn Hmm

the whole ' elaine is really okay' is annoying, plus L has been out of it for nearly a year now i think ( or best part) what man would put up with this in real life? i know he can go and see her and his son in a day trip etc etc, but he hasnt and she only popped back once or twice since.
its all very weird, now Twitters is engaged to Woody?
its all a bit fishy.

Why would Steven go anywhere after three months. He will marry in Sept, get custody of Louis and Lauren will either have to stay with him or lose Louis. I'm sure her alcoholism will be a factor.

Max has Steven to blackmail. Steven will marry Lauren and will get custody of Louis so Lauren will lose her son. Max wants people to lose what they love the most?

I don't get though why he is after Lauren as she stuck by him. I suppose she moved in with the people who lied about him so he sees her as a Beale?

What about Abi though? She took to the stand against him? He hasn't come to her yet? We know that what she really wants is a partner, a baby and to live happily ever after. Will she get pregnant and will Max who will tell her she has to have an abortion as Steven loves Lauren and she will lose the baby she wants?

Why go to all these lengths to get their hands on an old east end boozer?
i know its worth a lot of money and the land its on can be used for other things ( flats, hotel, shops etc) but there must be other ways of getting it rather than all of this under hand dealing? Just offer the Carters a million pounds or two maybe? now we all think there are more people involved too in the 'big scam' - I;m sure that Twitney is in on it it - after all, leek stitched her up and took off, mock rejected her, shirley hates her, she has more reasons to be involved than Max has really - that hair dye and Dallas clothing must have set her back a bit.

The Vic hasn't had a makeover for a few years. Maybe they're going to do another burning down/explosion so they can give it a facelift rather than doing away with it completely.

Sharon is a terrible actor, but I feel like Abi is the worst on the square. She's very wooden and just does a cartoon villain act. She looks like a drama student playing an evil panto dame.
