Max is after the plans for the market that Carmel has - i dont know what these plans are or why she would have them at home , or on a computer or laptop at work, but he is after something. he was nosing around her place the other day - maybe he will get her to find out things from work and pass them on to him for Mr Big? get her under his dubious spell first.

I can see Max's appeal - ( not the eating or dodgy clothes) but when he turns on the charm and does the puppy eyed thing, i can see how a woman might be attracted, he is also very slim!

i didnt realise that before about the jeans - considering that most women i know wear them ( i love mine and i;m old) it is weird that more of the women on the square dont.

Fed up of all the weak men on the square at the moment. Where are all the East End hard men? You've got Vincent changing nappies, Jack looking miserable all the time, Mick with no backbone whatsoever. Even supposed 'hard-man' of the moment, Max, is being all furtive, taking an absolute age to wreak his whispering revenge.

Yes, the men are pretty weak. I imagined Phil gunning for the bullies by now ! The old Phil would have 'sorted them out' by now. I would love grant to come back.

But when Grant came back, he wasn't the same (apart from one conversation with Jane). The rest of the time he dithered between hiding behind bushes, driving a car with Mark Jnr and partaking in a pantomime type kidnap rescue.
