Yay DD is back! What the hell was going on with Whitney? Surely it would have made slightly more sense for her to have gone to pieces a bit like this when Lee kept rejecting her in bed? did she keep Vincent's credit card? Maybe Kleptomaniac Whitney is the next slow burn storyline...? Or it could be magically over now that Mick is back!

Do you think the writers changed these storylines at short notice when DD went off on the sick, or was all of this thrilling woody, Whitney, farce of a shopping centre scene planned all along? The mind boggles.

Not seen it myself but surely something like shooting in a shopping centre takes a lot of permission and planning with the owners / city council?

I often wear 5 inch heels, my tightest dress and my white Dynasty jacket with enormous shoulder pads for browsing the shops of a morning. Not forgetting the false lashes, smoky eyes and bright red lips.

I've dipped in and out over the last few years but I think she married Stan Carter and then when he died she was penniless and ended up an alcoholic living at the allotments. I could be very wrong though.

They still portraying Denise as woman who's fallen very far .. she's had mim wage job for last 10-15years never had much money. Can't see how it's such a big drop. Surely you not be that stunned and frozen going into a hall for food bank. She's not giving her child to the workhouse. Now Kim doing it yes that's believable.

It's her last and only hope she's not eaten for days, would you walk out o somewhere with someone who didn't even live or have contact with the square? Surely you assume if the volunteer they can keep gob shut.

Weird episode! Though I'd been thinking it odd that Twitney's been getting away with all the stealing lately! Who is her stylist though . She looked like she was off to a fancy dress party!

Having googled it, Cora and Stan were partway through the wedding ceremony when Stan was in pain and it was stopped. He died that night before they could marry.

although Google also seems to say that he wasn't divorced from Sylvie so it would have been illegal anyway.

I think Whitney was trying to look like she had money, so that she would be less likely to get stopped/watched by a security guard. Security tend to have biases towards people who look poorer etc, as they think they are more likely to steal.
