Gcse's are being graded 1 to 9 as from this year. What this equates to i dont know.( I knew where I was with A stars, B's etc! )

The grading system for GCSE was changed this year, 80's.

South, looked it up. Dont understand why really, saying 9 9's doesnt sound as good as 9 a's ! Its another government thing i guess?

No A, and yes you would think a 1 would equate a A, but a 9 is an A*, 8 is an A, 7 a B and so on...just to make it even more baffling...

I must admit my entry level maths i fpund hard going..i would find English a bit easier i think. ( hope) but i dont know.
Its good to show people bettering themselves and doing courses and exams, but the other stuff with Dee is ridiculous.

I'm still looking at the new grading! Grades 9, 8 and 7 seem to be A* and A! Confusing. 6, 5 and 4, B and C. So a grade 4 and above to pass, presumably.

I'm predicting Denise with an 8 or 7, unless something awful happens to prevent her being able to do the exam.

Will employers know this new grading thing? Will they think 9 9's is terrible when its not? I smell a rat ( hoodwinking going on)
