ok,so a bit has happened since last thread

we know max is up to something dodgy

when will mick and linda reliese shirley has signed away their pub

stacey is preg and due at xmas

will lauren get preg due to holes in condom,and will she sleep with clark kent and accidently get preg yet stephen think its his ......

repeating the ian storyline...... with cindy

when will the bullying of bex stop

anything else of interest?

i know, i did think that - maybe she will turn into miss marple and discover the big rebuild of walford is slowly underway! Mind you, this doesnt make any sense in regards to the Vic as the new free holders seem to have allowed it be fixed now, so not sure what the big plan for the pub will be now? All that Fi seemed to do was make them get shot of Tracey. Maybe their very own chicken shop is up for a buy out? or the mini mart? the market again? who knows, but something is afoot with clarke kent, max and the sinister mr big i think.

i agree about Denise - why she wouldnt tell Kim about her money worries is a bit beyond me as well.
She had enough money on her mobile phone and still has the leccy on!!
its a bit disjointed.

What the hell is wrong with charity shops?! the most expensive areas in our city have many charity shops. I don't think charity shops necessarily mean down trodden in this day and age. After all, charity shops need donations!

The window in the office building was such BS! It looked like they were floating in the sky on a beanstalk!!

hate, i love charity shops ( we have around 6 or so in our high street) i thought that hipsters were into them as well? They are usually cleaner better stocked and friendlier than the normal shops.

Anyway, tv guide out today ( for next week) has a picture of Mick and Max on its front cover - will Mick hit the roof of his new kitchen when he finds out what Shirley has done??

Umm wonder what they will do with the pub? Nothing is my guess. They need a central point for both the young and old characters to meet, it has to be old cusses it's the good old East End and every soap has its bar.

The residents will all campaign and boycott the leaked plans. Phil and Dharon will go back to running it cause it's been in the faaaaamily for so long or something similar. I'm so bored of the Queen Vic and the Carter family have been rubbish since Linda went on maternity leave/Lee got the big storyline/Sausage came back/Nancy left. I would really like to see it taken over by a new family because the Carters aren't likeable and bore me. Woody standing in for Mick and Whitney standing g in for Linda doesn't even make a difference who is who anymore. They have all morphed into one giant pit of boredom which they will try to liven up by Whitney having a fling with Mick, Sausage will find out and be torn about whether to tell Linda and break her heart etc etc. It must be some way satisfying for Kellie Bright to know she is one of the main characters on the soap and without her the other cast members are useless.

I really do not know what they will do with the Vic to be honest- maybe Mick will come back and rescue them from the clutches of the shadowy freeholders? Not sure how though.
I was reading some letters in this weeks tv guide and someone pointed out that Shirley would have her licence revoked as she had been in jail?
not sure myself, but it sounded plausible to me that would happen.

I can't even remember what Shirley went to prison for........ certainly to hold a personal licence (see earlier licensing rants) which is all Shirley can hold as EITHER Mick or Linda are the DPS....

Any way, we are not allowed any relevant convictions, so drugs, alcohol and violence related. There may be others, but I do know it has to be 'relevant' to licensing, so for example a driving offence would be fine. Possibly somehow g like theft might be ok as well. I'm not certain on that though.

80's same here. All the well off local shops have about 6/7 charity shops with nice things inside. We have a local second hand furniture shop too with some lovely pieces of wooden furniture. They all seem to do quite well.

Oreo, hi, from what i recall Shirley took the rap for Babe serving alcohol outside the hours that your allowed to. Babe was serving beer with her full english breakfasts!
She didnt do anything wrong, just took the punishment so that Mick wouldnt have to.. something like that!

Oh yeah..... well I'm still stumped 'cos that is a licensing breach, and surely the prison sentence is for none payment of fines. Which is not necessarily a relevant offence.

But the local licensing board could probably revoke it. Although in real life people seem to get off with a lot. Hmm no idea. But I doubt it will bother the script writers. Since they haven't even got the basics of how the licences work!

No, i guess the writers dont care either way - ~Shirley was in prison one minute, the next she was out forging Mick's signature and Linda;s one too ( not sure if she knows about all this or not really?) in order to get them out of the debts. Which all seems fine - until Mick finds out no doubt. its a bit of a cock up and seems to be whatever fits in to the story!

So what's big max plan? Is the new company going squeeze Vic and make targets impossible until they have to sell to someone?

Can't work out if he's trying to screw all the Eastenders by bringing in what was it CLark said "high tech companies" then coffee shops and house prices will follow?

It's unbelievable LAurent had a job on 25k for not doing anything. Have we ever seen her with a camera, ever? Surely everyone can take pic on phone now if buildings they can't have that many that makes it worth while hiring her.

Max is very' slowly slowly catchy monkey' with all this scheming ( the Vic, bringing Charlie back and reunited with Matthew) with Clark Kent and a few others behind him, he is slowly working his way around the square whilst everyone thinks he is alright now and changed his ways..I suppose it makes a change from the usual type of baddie!
I agree that Lauren wont be doing much, but I think this is just Clarks way of keeping her close to him and have one over on Max.

Isn't Lauren meant to be in the marketing dept of this vulture company? Maybe she will have to sellprobably singlehandedly the area of Watford? She got this job because of all the experience she had from her teenage startup business with Lucy. Hmmmmmm

So Clark Kent cant fix photocopiers but he is the brains behind the 'redevelopment ' of Walford. I still think that Mr big is his Uncle or dad.
Max's actual job is a mystery. He doesnt seem to be there much.

Yes! Her dress was horrible. Very low neck and then below the knee? She just looked frumpy. She used to dress better when she ran that letting agency with Lucy. I've noticed EE are making a lot of women into frumps. Like Stacey and Nuchelle. They don't deserve it.!

Yes, the dress sense has been dire ( no fashionesta myself, but then i dont work at canery wharf!) stacey also looks a bit drap these days.

It's at an all time low, I can't remember Enders ever being so poor. And I'm getting really annoyed with Louise now, ok, she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but really? Even she should be able to see through her 'friends' by now...

And as for Denise and her tattered well thumbed books and her desire to get 1 gcse and have her name on something other than a visiting order...speechless.

Think I might start giving it a miss, at least until you lot start writing the scripts! x
