Thanks Beans. Are calls being diverted/intercepted?

Loftyjen · 16/04/2017 22:42

Wips & Bottom - me too - I kept thinking they'd noticed her arm during the interview & was desperate for one of them to say/Kate to write a message...that or for her arm to explode with pus spouting out of it!!

Am also Shock at Maneet and hoping all becomes clear next week.

Weirdly feel even more desperate for the next episode this week without a huge edge of seat "WTF" moment than weeks there have been!

At least there's Broadchurch tomorrow night!

tribpot · 16/04/2017 22:43

wowfudge they're not the same - napkin number is 07706 and the print out number is 07700.

Jimmy Lakewell's number is 07700 900784, evidence from last week. I must go back and see if that's the same as the number Hilton is writing, except for the 07706 at the beginning.

I thought it was 'jimmy' s number too,but then thought that didnt make sense as it turns out there actually was a legit solicitor Jimmy.....im so confused.

wowfudge · 16/04/2017 22:44

Do we actually know the name of the solicitor Nick Huntley brought in to his interview? I think I assumed he was Jimmy Lakewell, but we don't know it was.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 22:45

Yes, but then he uses the number Jimmy Lakewell' as a cover I'm thinking. Like, if you were having an affair, you'd save your other man's number as the name of a mate...

So, he was phoning Hilton... lo, balaclava man turns up.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 22:46

That's why it's so significant Steve didn't pull the mask off: he would have recognised him!!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 22:47

It's all going to be about the phone numbers!!

wowfudge · 16/04/2017 22:47

All those similar numbers. What a coincidence!

tribpot · 16/04/2017 22:47

Ah-ha. It is the same, except for the 6/0 - he is writing a 4 at the very end although you don't see him complete it.

He's listed on IMDb as 'Jimmy', but no surname.

I didn't realise that JM also wrote Bodies, until I was looking that fact up. I LOVED Bodies!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 22:48

I wouldn't read too much about Hana's all looking the same. That's like on US TV where they're all 555-XXXX

wowfudge · 16/04/2017 22:48

And check shoe size of every male suspect.

MILLYmo0se · 16/04/2017 22:49

Lol theelephant ofsurprise, true yes the husband probably is a balaclava man,but there was a second or 2 where I thought a balaclava wearing man would jump out of the shadows to chop Roz in half . LOD has me conditioned to expect crazy cliffhangers!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 22:49

Why is that one digit different though... grrr....

Misovexed · 16/04/2017 22:50

Or. Maybe it's time to throw Hastings under the bus. Arnott looked uncomfortable in the bar 'you got the promotion' conversation. DH reckons he knew Arnott was alive cos of move to BBC1 so got to be good for 3 series (i.e. Three on BBC 1).

I suspect just as we heave a sigh of relief about Ted being solid at end of last series, this one pulls the rug. He's sexist, he's in the masons, he's while, male, middle aged, so unfashionable.
Arnott will be heading up AC 12 at start of next series I reckon.

Possibly with a limp.

Misovexed · 16/04/2017 22:53

Nowordforfluffy, DH reckons IMDb relies on production company for info and they're wise to putting info on there that will be spoilers. E.g. Arnott's episode count would not tell you if he lived or died this time last week.

It's a stitch-up!

tribpot · 16/04/2017 22:55

Nick refers to his solicitor as "Jimmy" when they arrive for questioning - he thanks him for bringing him a change of clothes. There is a very odd exchange of glances between the two men and Maneet as they walk past her, though. It's at about 6 minutes in. Seems to be between her and Jimmy.

CopperRose · 16/04/2017 22:58

07706 900784 is the number Hilton wrote for Ros.
07700 900784 is** 'Jimmy Lakewell'.

(Unless the Hilton actor wrote a '6' by accident instead of a '0' whilst filming!!)

tribpot · 16/04/2017 23:01

Copper I do wonder if it's a continuity error, I bloody hope not! If so, I shall insist MNers have to watch the next series in advance of broadcast to make sure we catch all these details.

tribpot · 16/04/2017 23:02

Is there anything in the whole 'Jamie'/Jimmy thing I wonder?

NoWordForFluffy · 16/04/2017 23:03

He's just 'Jimmy' on the programme credits too. Arghhh.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 23:06

The Guardian blog has also looked at these phone numbers as has Twitter. Everyone is bemused.

In this day and age it would be embarrassing if it WAS a continuity error...

We all need jobs at AC-12. We are more observant than they are!

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 23:08

Nick is going to find that napkin at some point and think it's Jimmy's number?

CopperRose · 16/04/2017 23:10

I'll proper lol if it's a continuity error! 😂

That's a good theory ILikeBeans - there must be a reason they're so similar.
