Don't think I want to watch next weeks, heard its got giant bugs. already freaked out today with a fly in the house, cant stand programmes/films with giant pests!

mind you, the web planet and planet of the giants (1st doctor)the props are so cheap and 'blue Peter'.I can actually watch them!

Bills growing on me, I think, couldn't stand (since the reboot) Rose, Amy, Donna was a bit much after a while,as was Clara.

I really like Bill too. Her and Capaldi have great chemistry, and agree it works so much better when there are no romantic feelings involved.

Agree! Another really good episode. Loving the scarier side. Looks like it's def a person in the vault. My money's on John simm. Next week's looks good and scary too. Can't wait

I wish they'd had all the '57, '77 and '97 students come back as well. That would've been fun.

I thought David Suchet gave a beautifully nuanced performance - very moving. I am really enjoying this series.

Really enjoying all the episodes this season, and I always love a haunted house story!

I think it is the Master in the vault, who else would the Doctor share a meal with who would be happy to hear about students getting eaten alive?

The master is a genius. Of course he/She can play the piano. Playing Beethoven too. We all know the doctor is a big Beethoven fan. Maybe the dr, the master and Beethoven have history.? Would love to see that episode

More comprehensible tonight, less dialogue for bill although still losing some doctor speeches. As someone else has said, also makes a change to have millennial characters that you don't actually want to thump.

Why did the house only return the most recently consumed people?

I'm think the occupant of the vault has something to do with the doctor refusing to answer the question about "if you could save the person who brought you into this world, wouldn't you do it?" It did make me wonder if it could be his mother. My memory isn't the best but when they were trying to bring back Gallifray wasn't there a woman who was assumed or possibly categorically stated to be his mother? Is he protecting the inhabitant of the vault from the universe, or protecting the universe from them?

It probably is the Master/Missy though.

why oh why is there always an token gay reference every sodding episode? I mean, why?

I get the bit where Bill tells the guy why he's not her type, but the other guy saing about his grampa and his boyfriend????

I welled up at the Landlord and his Mum at the end! Great acting (and special effects) from everyone in this episode. I hope we see a bit more Bill's friends, they were a good bunch. It's good to see another companion who doesn't think the sun shines out of the Doctors backside all the time and who asks awkward questions.

The guy who's said about his grandfather going back packing. The reference is that his grandfather was an old companion of the doctors.
Forgive me I haven't watched much of the classic serise. So don't really no who. He worked for unit. And went of a few adventures with then the doctor and Sarah Jane.

Another good espiode. Liked Bill working out the mother/son link using her knowledge of human behaviour but without any smugness. I too wish they'd bought back the previous cohorts of students, if only to see the outfits.

Harry was meant to be Harry Sullivan's grandson, but the reference was cut because they thought people wouldn't remember a companion from 40 years ago. Bit daft really, they've had much more obscure references than that in the past.

Can I ask a question?

I thought the Doctor wasn't allowed to kill anyone, so in last weeks when Bill asked about it and he looked cagey, why?

Also I don't care who is in the vault as long as it isn't River Song
