Oh, Suzy, fucking brainwashed/Stockholm Syndrome. Someone did a number on her!

purplecoathanger · 30/03/2017 21:59

That baby should not have been on the table.

TheSpottedZebra · 30/03/2017 21:59

So FUBAR.

Which autocorrected to fun. It's not that.

ArriettyClock1 · 30/03/2017 21:59

I want just ONE of these women to say, 'fuck this. I'm off'

miserablemolly · 30/03/2017 21:59

Realistically how will it make that much of a difference if two extra wives get thrown into the minx?

randomer · 30/03/2017 22:00

so sad for young lads chucked out.

Lalaloopsyscaresme · 30/03/2017 22:00

They're going to marry him 😢

randomer · 30/03/2017 22:01

omg she's on a yoga mat......not very Mormon

WayfaringStranger · 30/03/2017 22:01

Pretty sure Marina is having a mental breakdown.

jobvcareer · 30/03/2017 22:01

I think if he marries them marina will walk

Dulra · 30/03/2017 22:02

Can't see how it will work and the brothers wives are grieving surely not the right time to make these kinds of decisions

randomer · 30/03/2017 22:09

rather than go the whole hog.

i think the whole hog is what they are signing up for

expatinscotland · 30/03/2017 22:13

Hope Beth and Marina get the hell out of there.

hoopdeloop · 30/03/2017 22:33

FUBAR= fucked up beyond all recognition

I just don't understand it. I watched it with some naive hope of getting a bit more understanding of their reasoning. But all I can think is they are mad!

Also lolled at Ian- poor lamb! This family seemed to be a bit more unsisterly than last weeks.

I really hope he doesn't marry them, it's so unfair and strange.

cushioncovers · 30/03/2017 22:45

Just watching now.

Arrrh hold that baby's head ffs

Why is marina so pissed off surely she knew that being in a plural marriage would mean sharing the husband.

Blackbird82 · 30/03/2017 22:50

Suzy looks deranged. But, she seems pretty happy with the set up! As for the other two, they are losing the plot. Beth looks as if she is in deep depression.

When Able's brother was on his death bed, I turned to my husband and said "I bet he ends up marrying/shagging his brothers wives" - I was joking. Two mins later he confirms just that! He's a slimy little weasel. Can't stand him.

cushioncovers · 30/03/2017 23:01

5 wives??ShockShockSad

cushioncovers · 30/03/2017 23:02

That was really unfair of his brother to ask him to marry his two wives. Why can't the two sister wives pick their new husband themselvesAngryAngry

EffinElle · 30/03/2017 23:04

Patriarchy's alive and kicking!! Fuck that, so glad I was bought up an atheist!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 30/03/2017 23:39

The two new wives will surely see off Beth and Marina... they are so unhappy with sharing already!

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 30/03/2017 23:39

Will they be allowed to take the kids?!

I agree Abel is a clown and hard to tolerate. Enoch at least seemed more sincere and thoughtful towards his wives.

xmasadsboohiss · 31/03/2017 10:15

While I really felt for him losing his brother at such a tragically young age, I cannot get past this passing on of wives business! Women really are just possessions and pretending that they actually have the final word is a smokescreen I think. They're not going to go against their husbands dying wish.

The couple in the monogamous relationship are so NOT on the same page. I liked the wife - she had some uumph. There's going to be a hell of a lot of teen sexual tension going through those tightly clasped hands though.

macnab · 31/03/2017 10:42

FUBAR - yes, indeed and I'm so glad to have learnt this acronym!!

For anyone who likes reading, there is a really good booked called The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. Although fiction, it goes into a lot of the factual historical background of the early Mormon and LDS establishment and it is fascinating. I'd really recommend it.
