I work in town and loads of men wear brown shoes these days.

My obvious guess is Lauren will have an affair with Clark Kent (who looks very like Ben Mitchell), get pregnant and think Clark Kent is the Dad because she won't have known that creepy Stevie made holes in condoms.

Louise will be bullied and Bex will come to her rescue.

I like the trio of Ben, Jay and Donna but really hope she won't start shouting all the time about the guys using all the milk and becoming the stereotypical EE mother role.

It is really odd and not very nice for half the square to offer condolences about the Carter's dog and not for their recently deceased mother.

A few of us with pubs on these EE threads (I've explained I don't live or work in ours before so am not a font of information on the subject). I can see history repeating itself with Stephen and Louis. Wasn't stephen's dad Ian's half brother or something or related somehow? That kitchen at the Vic, how can they live like that? i agree that woody isnt really needed now Shirley is out of the nick - she has a license, she can run the pub - seems to be too many cooks now! Dot buying Lady Di a new ball - Kim was vile about the dog though - she isnt normally that nasty. didnt like that at all. She is a fun character, funny and a good mum - dont turn her into a spiteful cow.

The thing with dots brooch is making me wonder if we're going back to the Jay stealing story, I thought they didn't cremate bodies with jewellery so the brooch should have been removed I think? Will Billy or Jay have it - or will this just turn into another non-story? Shame though as it was from Dots auntie Gwen - who she was evacuated to in the war iirc?

I am really not liking this Lauren/photocopier guy storyline. There is zero chemistry between them. It's almost he is deliberately acting completely wooden and stupid as part of the character...but I think it's just him!

Also, why is it still ok for a woman to slap a man in TV land and it just be part of their bold, diva-esque character? Imagine the uproar if it were the other way around.

I think Mr Big is going to turn out to be either Clark Kent or his dad with him being trained up to take over the company. Lauren will start sleeping with him only to discover their dastardly plan & be torn over whether to tell Twitney & therefore reveal her own infidelity or keep her secret & see her best friend lose her home.

AGnu, probably - didnt think that Clark kent and Max were in it together, but they might be with Mr big, Maybe he is Big's son or nephew or something - that would be a bit of a twist.
Those offices are lovely though, how i wished i worked somewhere like that.
