Am I alone in finding Steve so annoying this series? Not that I want him dead and written out...just less smug.

Choccywoccyhooha · 09/04/2017 22:09

Noooo.

schrutefarmbeets · 09/04/2017 22:09

Tilly - me too, my heart is still thumping Sad

MILLYmo0se · 09/04/2017 22:10

'Was'NT the window this TIME '
Am so jittery after that I can't type straight!

SecretNortherner · 09/04/2017 22:10

Feral. Jimmy is meant to be a criminal solicitor. Don't think jimmy and Jamie are the same person.
Bally man be the husband (doesn't have enough time to grab his belly and meet Steve at floor 3), but if he was following ros the night of tims murder surely he would have seen her moving tims body?
Steve can't die, it's only episode 3!, although he does have near death experiences in most series around this time, fingers crossed smashing your skull into a flight of stairs does not cause death.

squoosh · 09/04/2017 22:10

I agreepurple! Steve is soop-ah irritating.

Fizzingwhizbees · 09/04/2017 22:11

I'm with you Purpleprickles, I actually think he's been a bit of a knob since the very beginning (even if he's got good intentions) but I don't like the way he's been with Kate at all this series. I still don't want him killed off though!

And if Jimmy is Jamie does that mean Jamie is bad or Huntley's husband is long term undercover and being handled by Jamie. Meaning that balaclava man is someone else an just happened to be there? Or am
I just thinking too much about the other BBC drama Undercover?

At one point Ros typed out a text saying - I'm coming in. It was while she was watching a witness interview. She never sent it.... I've not imagined that have I? Who's controlling her?

Purpleprickles · 09/04/2017 22:14

Euphemia Grin

I'm glad I'm not alone in finding him bloody annoying.

Purpleprickles · 09/04/2017 22:15

Bottomhangingout I think she was going to send that to the witness. I think she set her up and that's why she looked surprised when Farmer admitted having approached her. I think he is just broken down now.

Marmalade85 · 09/04/2017 22:15

Steve might be a very annoying tiny snooker player but that's no reason to kill him.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 09/04/2017 22:15

Nooooooooo noooooooo not Steve

MILLYmo0se · 09/04/2017 22:18

That text was to Kate in the interview wasn't it,then they convinced the witness to do the line up ID so Huntley didnt need to go in/send the text

whatsthecomingoverthehill · 09/04/2017 22:18

As someone said earlier it's a bit of a cliche for the detectives husband to be the murderer. So I reckon he must be linked in some way (the Jimmy bloke is being heavily pushed) but he's not the actual balaclava man.

squoosh · 09/04/2017 22:18

I won't be upset if he's snuffed it. He's like a smug Jack Russell and no one likes a smug jack Russell

stonecircle · 09/04/2017 22:18

Bottom - I think that was because she thought Kate was screwing up the interview but then the woman being interviewed agreed to try and identify the man who approached her, so she didn't need to go in after all.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/04/2017 22:18

No, she was going to send it to Jodie or Kate but they did better than she expected so she didn't send it in the end.

Palpitations settling down now. My goodness me!

Misovexed · 09/04/2017 22:19

He's right and that is reason to kill him.

Just because no-body believes him yet doesnt stop the wrong uns getting jittery.

But I repeat, bumping him off in the lawyers office leads them straight to the husband so it has to be deliberate. Someone wants AC12 to focus on the husband so they don't look elsewhere. But who!?

Toastandjam16 · 09/04/2017 22:19

Steve can't die yet. They have built up the conflict between him and Kate and it would all be wasted.

The timing of the car seems odd to me. 23.30 (or whatever it was) is that long for anyone, even both the Huntleys, to attack Tim, wait for him to bleed out, amputate his fingertips, and clean the whole flat to (almost) the standard needed to pass a forensic examination.

Zone2mum · 09/04/2017 22:19

Can't get over feeling Jamie is a baddie simply because the actor played the pure evil Reece in Murdered by my Boyfriend. Am still haunted by that programme and it's been several years

Whywaitfortomorrow · 09/04/2017 22:20

I'm sorry, that was ridiculous.

So Hana is a cleaner and a prostitute and works in a coffee shop and also a murderer. Yet she supposedly missed the most obvious bloodstain on the worktop.

buggerthebotox · 09/04/2017 22:20

Steve is getting on my pip too. I think he's a goner.

I don't think that was Ingleby in the balaclava. Too slight.

Big Cheese Copper is getting more suspicious by the minute, though. Paul Higgins, that is. Had a stiff vodka to help me thru that. Blush.
