Yes Ellen is behaving extremely oddly. Why would you tell your boss where you were going if you were trying to do some undercover investigation? And then why would you tell the person you wanted to speak to your real name and where you really work? Why would you think contacting a 10 year old child on the internet and telling her to keep it secret from their parents was Ok? I hope it will all make sense next week rather than it being something stupid.

I love fight club. I keep hoping everything is fight club.

Im actually glad it is a 3 parter and not an 8 week series it would be excrusiating (sp).

Just not sure what to make of baby/Cerys - my theory falls down there.
Or could be that Ellen/Paula had a baby which was taken away and then they are imagining how she would be now. So even baby/Cerys are one and same and just symbolic images in her (whichever 'her' it is) mind. They don't appear in character list - no surprise - hence just symbols.

Thought I was going mad when I thought Kay and husband's mum were the same person. Apparently the actresses are often asked if they are related in rl. Confusing !

Who is the actress who plays Ian's mother? I can't remember her name in the show so can't Google! I know it's stupid saying Neve Mackintosh looks much older in this than she does in Doctor Who, considering she's dressed as a lizard but I thought she was much younger

I took it to be that Caris had told her mum she'd had a message off someone Paula works with, so Paula logged into her account to answer the next message she'd received?
I think it will be Ellen who has the paranoid mental state and Paula is ok.

The other witnesses who saw the baby being left could have been the two people sitting outside the cafe where she met her.

Agree with the replacement title being a reference to replacing a child .

Actually finding Vicki McClure /Paula a bit overdone ,I'm beginning to wonder if she's a robot /alien !

I'm really enjoying this series and it's making me want to move to Glasgow!

I have no theories to share, but I really want Paula's grey and white ombre top that she was wearing at the end of the last episode.

It's very clear there is a lot that Ellen is missing when it comes to the baby. Why would she be out to midnight? Why is a new born baby in a cot? Why is Paula able to be in two places at once?

I will watch again. It's all very disjointed. And the timelines seem weird. I'm beginning to feel a loss of reality myself in remembering it.

Who is the actress who plays Ian's mother?

Siobhan Redmond. She's been in LOADS of stuff. Played a consultant on Holby for years. I thought she looked very like the actress who played Kay too.

How was Ellen able to email /text Caris? How did she have her contact details?

I find Ellen's husband annoying- he mumbles and what with the Scots accent I can't understand a word he says a lot of the time.

Paulas Dd is mixed race and Ellens isn't unless she has a phsycatrist obsession/delusion

She typed her name into Facebook, Polly, although they didn't actually show the logo for it, it was that type of site.

Polly, Ellen tracked her down on Facebook and messaged her from there.

Elendon I totally agree, I'm struggling to piece it all together and keep remembering/forgetting bits. I hate re-watching stuff, but I might need to make an exception for this.
