Anyone else watching this chilling drama based on a Len Deighton novel ? The Germans won the Battle of Britain and now occupy Britain.
Includes quite a bit of shagging too, so I am told.

Why did they keep saying the King was old? It was 1941, he would have been 46 in the December.

Yes Holdme I think it must have been Mayhew who killed Staines - your logic is impeccable!

I'm not sure about Huth and the cigar case - he didn't seem to mind much about saving his own life, and also I think nothing could have done by that stage. Because if Huth had told Kellermann about it Kellermann would still have had Huth shot, and claimed the credit for finding the atomic secrets himself. (K had his own reason for needing Huth out of the way - the investigation into the Swiss bank accounts).

So I like to think Huth did know about it and let Archer escape with the atomic secrets...

Yes he definitely could have.

I'm just thinking, it actually might have been Huth who killed Staines after all - I'm trying to remember what Archer said on the phone when he found the body. I think it was along the lines that Staines was so beaten up he probably hadn't given them much?

So it could have been Huth but Staines said nothing.

Did they say the king was old? Just thought they said he was infirm/in a state.

Okay, confess, was walking past Waterstones today and leafed through the book ending of SS-GB. Different on some key points.

If I'm honest, I didn't really understand what was going on and was only watching towards the end for the hot Nazi Blush Don't think I'll bother with a second series now he's been shot as he was the most interesting character in it. Very disappointing

I liked how slim Huth was -and Archer come to that. As it would have been then. Most heroes nowadays have 6packs and bulging pecs.
