Know what you mean, one of my oldest friends is about to marry about to marry a man 20+ years older than her (we are both 46) and in all her photos on fb she looks like she's with her dad, she's very happy though Confused

It can work out, i think about Richard and Judy, she was much older with twins when she met him and ( i know he isnt a MN favourite!) they always seemed really happy and it worked! Apart from the couple on holiday, i dont know anyone personally with such a big age gap, but you do sometimes see older dads with younger looking women and small kids - maybe they are just better at parenting and being a husband when they are older. more patience maybe, not so uptight? A lot of rock stars always end up with much younger women, but i always think this is more money driven than love sometimes! lol. You cant tell these days.

No, because he is over 16 i think. Still, any school here would still frown upon it and sack the teacher.

it was funny when he said that he wasnt old enough to vote in the usa elections. i wonder why his parents are not worried about where he is!

no, thats not that big is it? in the 90s home with the kids i did used to watch them and it seemed a bigger gap, but he was always a bit immature i thought so maybe i thought it was larger - plus he used to go on about it too as if it was a bigger gap! 8 years is nothing.

When it happened here the teacher was arrested even though he was 16 it is the duty of care thing so because Michelle is a teacher if it happened at walford high the same would happen to her she basically ran away from florida because she is a sex offender.

Love eh? a powerful thing. It is fascinating - only a 2 year gap with dh and I I have a friend who is 2 years older than her husband - he was 18 when they met and his mum tried to split them up, but been married for 20 odd years now. It must be hard when its a huge gap. People judge enough as it is.
