I think Sharon left her some money for 'looking after the kids' - she will be wanting that back when she comes home to find letters from the school about Denny, Louise off the rails too and Preston (north end) taking up space in the house. Phil might be back to his old self, telling them both to naff off with any luck ( in Italian)

I was watching and kept thinking it seemed long tonight! It was 8.15 when I realised it must be an hour!!

I did laugh at Travis turning up after someone mistakenly called Preston that!

Nuchelle really did make a HUGE mistake didn't she? She's regretting it now but clearly when in USA she convinced Preston it was the real deal!

I'm wondering where the Jane/Ian and dr storyline is going. She's stopping physio and he's going for his MOT. There has to be a link - EE don't show these things for nothing.

Jack is really taking advantage of Dot for babysitting Matthew. Seems to be an everyday thing, and it's not as though he's doing anything that would preclude having Matthew with him. I really felt for her when she was doing her weary scenes.

Dreary, that is the word, nhs funding/janes physio getting cut. Jack, dull. Stacey, dull. Chell, dull/unbelievable. Vague reference once again to Dots eyesight (are we building up to some babysitting mishap?) but more dull crap with the cat (cat was renamed Dave by Amy and Ricky btw), Lou and Bex, dull. Mick, Lee and whitless, dull. Did I miss anything? Confused I hadn't seen it was an hour but kept thinking is it over soon all through it Sad.

People going around to Dot's house to have their clothes washed is pretty inspired I think. Now Dot can dip in and out of EE and still have interaction with people. People can't live on their own in soapland. The very longcat scene bored me though.

I thought Michelle was good tonight. She portrayed her embarrassment, the age difference and her head versus heart feelings for Preston really well. But is he going to end up with Becs?

Who was Whitney talking to on the phone when Mick came into the room to see if it was Lee on the phone?

BEN who wanted his independence is going to live a couple of houses away from his father!!!

I think all these theme nights in the Vic are the producer's nod to inclusion in their ongoing quest to be topically relevant.
The Chelle/Preston storyline is creepy - it's a bit like Kylie and her toyboys.
Perhaps Ian will be found to have something wrong and will need an organ transplant (brain?)
