I knew that was coming as I accidentally saw an Instagram spoiler. So gutted for them though Poor Billie and VJ. I don't understand though how a cancerous mass can randomly grow in someone's lung over the course of a few days and kill them straight away. Can that really happen!? I wonder if it had anything to do with the smoke inhalation, in which case John will be responsible for her death. Weird that it didn't show on any of the X Rays she had before she left hospital.

They said it was really aggressive and was growing but hidden from view in the scan. Killed her so quick as where it was it obstructed the airway.

So sad although the scene was a bit Meg and Blake.

How will he get both the girls back to hospital?

Why does no one love Ash the way I do?

Momma, i love poor old Ash. He was a right old hero in the recent spin offs. And on a completely shallow note, i like that he has a 'normal' body with a wee belly and isn't all bulked up like loads of the other Summer Bay dudes.

Sorry Momma it's just his personality! He's taken over the Braxtons at the hospital when they just mindlessly shout 'is he/she gonna be ok?' I do like his bun tho!

So I know nothing about the law in Oz but I imagine we now have to be concerned that as far as we know, VJ hasn't been named on any birth certificate or got any kind of guardianship order. They were married but does that guarantee Luc stays with him? It's like they are setting this up for us...but frankly Irene wouldn't want to raise her, would she? And the evil birth father won't get near her.
Also, Blake and Meg. Do they think all their viewers are 14? Or even 20?

I think that if vj isn't on a birth certificate yet then ash will probably get her. Poor kid, what sort of life would that be, living out of a caravan and with no wider family for support. At least she'd be loved and cherished and looked after by vj and Leah and I'm sure ash and Irene would've been hands on too :(

Today's episode floored me, so sad but I didn't expect her death storyline to play out so quickly.

In reality Billie's partner/husband would be assumed to be the father, I'm pretty sure - it'd only be if Ash or Irene challenged his paternity that there would be an issue. Obviously it's Summer Bay so there WILL be an issue.

Speaking as a medical person the tumour timeline doesn't make a lot of sense, and definitely couldn't have been caused by acute smoke inhalation and developed in a couple of weeks. I find their medical storylines are usually fairly accurate, but this one... not so much.

They were home so presumably they registered her, they were back a while before she went back .

Cel982 yes atm I find Leah unnecessarily whiny and shrill.

I used to like Leah years ago, when she was first in it. Over the last few years she's become a bit of a busybody and is often very judgemental of others, despite the fact that she is far from perfect. She was quite ruthless going after Miles when he was with Kirsty too (I know it was years ago, I hold grudges ).
I do feel sorry for her over this luc business though. But if I was in her shoes I would be feeling a bit annoyed at how vj had given up school, was working long hours etc when billy hadn't been honest with him, but with Leah it's more about her and how she's not yia yia.
