I don't understand the casting of that family. Tori and Brody do actually look like they could be siblings, and Raffi also looks vaguely like she could be a member of their family, but the others? Jack is half Chinese but this doesn't appear to be part of their back story (yet?) and Mason is just from planet annoying knucklehead and doesn't look related to any of them or seem remotely convincing as a medical student.

The Mason/Olivia storyline is just dumb and annoying. They keep making out that Mason is a hopeless romantic, but no one with biceps like his is interested in anyone as much as they love looking at themselves in the mirror surely??

Haha washingfairy I totally agree, both about mason and Olivia being dull and annoying and about the family looking nothing alike!

I read that the actor who played Duncan auditioned for the Justin role. He would have fit the family look better. Though yes, this way they have story options later on, when Justin discovers a missing parent.

I thought she'd gone back to the city to live with her real mum. And get rehab after losing her arm in the explosion.

Maddy went travelling, though how she'd manage on her own having not long lost an arm I don't know. I'm not saying that people with missing limbs can't travel but it was such a recent injury for her. Surely you'd need rehab for a long, long time (she mentioned going to the city first for some rehab but it was like it was going to be a quick thing before she headed off on her travels).
Can't imagine why Evie wants to go on the sailing trip, surely she can go anywhere in the world with Matt, why would she want to spend 2 weeks on a boat with his ex . I find it really odd how that group of friends shared partners. PensPencilsandRulers .... yes they couldn't possibly have gone out with anyone else could they!! Although Evie did have a fling with Wayne/Tank. I like Matt the best though. He's got the best sense of humour.
