They meant the Justin explosion which could be seen from the school rather than the explosion in the school I think? And yeah poor Alf was left so long because couldn't direct the search

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 31/03/2018 09:55

I don’t see how Robbo can be a longterm character given what he’s done, but they do seem to be able to rehabilitate anyone in Summer Bay...

SleepingStandingUp · 31/03/2018 10:53

Surely he has to go down for Novak if nothing else?

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 31/03/2018 11:35

Well, exactly.

Would be sorry to see him go though, and just be left with Ash, Morgans and River Boys.

user1andonly · 31/03/2018 13:50

CurbsideProphet ah, yes they are :( I was a bit behind on my viewing. I hope we will, at least, get to find out his back story. Wasn't there also a mysterious missing girlfriend? Right back when he first arrived in the bay, Kat found the address he'd been living at and spoke to the neighbours who confirmed he'd lived there but kept himself to himself or something like that. There were the remains of a fire in the garden which looked like someone had been hiding something.

CurbsideProphet · 01/04/2018 09:46

user ah yes I had forgotten about that!

SleepingStandingUp · 01/04/2018 12:18

Gf was dead wasn't she? Diabetic coma?

user1andonly · 01/04/2018 14:40

Ah, yes, and the fire was her burning his stuff because she thought he'd left her when actually he'd lost his memory and been living on the island.

Was she an actual girlfriend or just a cover story while he was in the bay staking out Kat and preparing to kill her on the orders of the drugs gang. I wonder if she will ever be mentioned again... Grin

SleepingStandingUp · 01/04/2018 17:46

As wife was dead it's reasonable he'd moved on I guess? But no sure she won't be.

So how does he go from happy family man to hit man?

PollyCotton · 01/04/2018 19:21

I have a theory that Beckett Reid is an alias that's been used by various men. The police said originally that they knew of a super-villain called BR but didn't have any more info than that - could be because it's not one person, like Dread Pirate Roberts. His family was murdered & he suffered some form of breakdown leading him to vow revenge. His memory loss & subsequent recovery have been the catalyst for undoing all his trauma issues. He'll get arrested but someone will take pity on him & call Morag. She'll argue temporary insanity, with Tori as an expert witness. This will, of course, require Tori to spend many hours assessing & counselling him. By the time Morag gets him off, Tori will be pregnant with his child, they'll get engaged outside the court & everyone will have forgotten Kat.

PollyCotton · 02/04/2018 21:51

I've now watched Friday's & looks like my Dread Pirate Roberts theory might be right. Maybe that's why they nicknamed him Robbo! Will catch up with today's now...

tiffanysfanny · 02/04/2018 22:00

Ash is very selfish. He is behaving like he doesn't have a niece to think about. I really hate the random fights.

tiffanysfanny · 02/04/2018 22:04

It would be funny if a bucket Reid is the person responsible for Tori and her lot's parents dying.
As we know, they are still out there and they keep on sending people to finish of jobs.
Ash will probably go off in search for answers in regards to robo's family leading him to the person behind the gang/syndicate. 😂

SleepingStandingUp · 03/04/2018 02:10

Agree Ash is being a jerk

There's a police station full of police men that we ask vaguely know, why is it new guy walks on and like Kat he's dealing with every crime. He's got the Robbo case, the stalker case and now the not dead mom case. The others, who presumably live around the Bay must feel really undervalued.

I think the sergeant should date Leah

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 03/04/2018 08:49

I like the sergeant and the cop with the beard who always used to look after Luc when Kat brought her into the station. I wish they could be properly integrated into the Bay and have their own stories - the sergeant would be perfect for Leah! It must be weird only having a line or two once a week.

SleepingStandingUp · 03/04/2018 08:57

Yeah like you're not quite worthy.

Surely there's stories for an intelligent, career driven man - there's so few of them!

And yeah, Luc's babysitter - perhaps a nab without violent tendencies at last?

SleepingStandingUp · 03/04/2018 09:10

Constable Murray , Luc's pal has dine 50 episodes since 2012. Mcarthy has done 72 since 2009!

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 03/04/2018 10:03

Well, that’s not going to pay the rent!

SleepingStandingUp · 03/04/2018 10:49

They've done some other bits in other shows but nothing really major. Its odd especially for Macarthy, he's been involved in some big stories. Perhaps the other men can't cope with having men with actual career trajectories and a lack of casual violence

Matilda2013 · 03/04/2018 19:47

I like bearded cop. Think we should make him more important!

SleepingStandingUp · 03/04/2018 20:29

Yeah, how old is he? He'd only get in with a love story. Olivia is too annoying. Ziggy loves Brodes. Ooooh younger man for Roo??

CurbsideProphet · 04/04/2018 08:26

I hadn't realised that Mccarthy and Murray had been around for so long! They're the only people we don't see on their days off, down the gym and at Salt. I'm amazed that neither of them lives at the caravan park, as that is usually standard for the local cops Grin

SleepingStandingUp · 04/04/2018 08:43

Ha ha yeah they must commute in from afar!

Cel982 · 05/04/2018 18:34

Catching up on the last few days’ episodes. God, Ash is such a charmless thug. Tori is well rid.
