What I want to know is why Kat's boss doesn't eat or drink. He never gets to hang out at Salt, or drink coffee at the diner poor man. Never has a day at the beach. All he's allowed to do is stamp into the office with the blinds, and occasionally drive to Ash's garage to arrest him for something he didn't do. I'm worried that with a life like that he's at risk of corruption by Ranae or Gunno or any of the other villains who seem to go in and out of jail at the drop of a hat.

Have now watched the spin-off 'Revenge'. Farcical. The police officer made me want to throw things at the TV. They clearly threw quite a hit of cash at it though. Will save the other one for when I'm really really bored...

Oh, that police officer wasdreadful. Quite apart from not being able to act at all, she was crap at police work. Word of advice, love - when (a) Nate Cooper is able to act you off the screen and (b) Heath Braxton is able to solve the crime more quickly than you can - you've got problems.

Am several episodes behind as have been away: am looking forward to catching up.

Have we established why Irene's creepy rapist son is just free to wander around Summer Bay now? I know no-one official knows about Billie's rape but he did kidnap his mother and hold her hostage for six weeks. Is that just not that big a deal in the crime stakes these days?

He was deemed well enough to be released, but isn't supposed to be in Summer Bay...

I do think the actor playing Nate has got a bit better. I'm sure when he was first in it he had an Aussie accent, which was quickly dropped.

they do seem to have a strange attitude to crime. The Braxtons get locked up for ages but anyone else gets day release or the chance yo say they've reformed. Just look at Hunter .

There's so many things bugging me about H&A recently. Who left the mirror on Marilyn's bed so she could look at her scars?! Surely you'd try to make sure she couldn't see herself until she'd started to heal/recover from the shock of the fire, not leave a mirror practically in her hand so she could feel around on the bed & pick it up while alone & already somewhat distressed!

Why did those men just stare at Mick while he was shouting/grabbing at Irene? If that'd been Alf or John witnessing some random bloke treating an older lady that way then they'd have shouted "Oi" or at least "You 'right?" & Mick would've scarpered. Alf/John would've taken her into the café for everyone to fuss over too.

Leah looking at the outfit for the baby asked Zach if it was "too pink" because apparently it looked more "off white" in the shop... what kind of lighting did they have in that shop?!

The men and Irene think is probably pretty accurate in this day and age but then not all men can live up to Alf.

The complete lack of chemistry between Leah and Zac is bugging me. I can't bring myself to care when they fight because they are the most implausible couple anyway.

Have been binge-watching today to catch up - I loved Phoebe's singing to Justin and also loved Heath and pregnant Bianca and the kids heading back to the city to live happily ever after (awwwwwww) I do love a Braxton though: only Ash to fly the tough-surfer-guy-with-a-heart-of-marshmallow-who-looks-great-with-his-shirt-off flag now

Although I am weirdly obsessed with Dr. Nate's eyes. They are extraordinarily beautiful.

After watching that ep I would say the Leah and Irene have more chemistry than Leah and Zac.

Zac's part is woefully underwritten at the moment though. I think that the actress who plays Leah wrings as much as she can out of stuff, be his face looks like he knows he's a spare part. Surely they're not going to kill off another of Leah's husbands!!

I'm just catching up and I'm aware I'm really behind but I'm so annoyed with the writers for changing the Ranae story.. As TheOnlyLivingBoy said up thread, she was the girlfriend of one of the syndicate.. And now they're changing it to being her dad its ridiculous

Ah so do you think maybe she was the girlfriend of one of them as well as losing her dad - and fm didn't tell the syndicate about her dad because she didn't want them to know? Momma (totally overthinking this but hate when they're not consistent with a story).

Yeah, its not unlikely in what I imagine is a very secluded life that she for our on with someone else the group bit wouldn't tell anyone about her Dad s they wouldn't trust her.

I hate Olivia and Mason together, they have zero chemistry. She needs a break from boys for a while!
