😂😂😂 his name was Troy in it.

I saw him and thought, he looks familiar 😂.
I thought Jason Mason was annoying but Shaki outdid him in that episode 😆

buddhasbelly · 16/01/2017 18:50

That's SHAKI? I would never have clicked, although my eyesight is awful...

to the PP asking about why dont Lee and Whit just move back home, I could see them both saying "we don't want to trouble Jack right now," even though the other half of the square thought all Jack needed was a boozy night out to forget the fact his wife has just died...

dingdongdigeridoo · 16/01/2017 19:04

I had no idea Shaki was so famous. I've never seen the talent shows: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaheen_Jafargholi

DearMrDilkington · 16/01/2017 20:06

I really want to shave that beard off Phil... It's making me itch.

buddhasbelly · 16/01/2017 20:10

me too dilkington

eurgh Aunt Babe, she's just vile

GottaGetThisDone · 16/01/2017 20:28

Oh my word Shaki is that cute kid from BGT? Who knew Grin

DearMrDilkington · 16/01/2017 20:29

Baby spud meets father spudGrin

DearMrDilkington · 16/01/2017 20:31

Oh Sad

The80sweregreat · 16/01/2017 20:34

So is daddy spud gonna go for custody of nameless child?
Not sure what to think now!

dingdongdigeridoo · 16/01/2017 20:37

I saw it as Phil walking away. I really hope it's not another custody storyline.

TheMockingbird · 16/01/2017 20:38

Had to NC, was womanfromanotherplace.

Aww Big Potato and Little Potato Sad
Looks like EE is improving from the Nuchellulite/Shazza ep the other day.

Sharon did her amazing wide-eyed astonishment well today. Phil did talking. In. One. Word. Sentences. well again.

Jack needs to realise he doesn't get the monopoly on grief. I mean Dot has had to kill off her best mate and her son, had her step-grandson fall off a roof, both husbands die and had her live-in pal Fatboy disappear, so Jack wants to watch the way he talks to her.

Ugh. Whitless and her tinkly laugh, snail trailing after Mick like a teenager Hmm

frogsgoladidahdidah · 16/01/2017 20:41

So mum and I currently in heated debate about if the Mitchells could actually adopt baby in RL?

youarenotkiddingme · 16/01/2017 20:41

Omg I remember that audition. He was amazing.

I oint that episode very sad to watch. I'm warming to the new writer.

Akire · 16/01/2017 20:41

He looked like he was saying goodbye. It's laughable that either he or Sharon could look after a baby in their magically expanding household already.

squirrelonapetridish · 16/01/2017 20:44

Am hoping they bring back Charlie as they've been going on about him so much. Maybe Vincent just roughed him up a bit and scared him off rather than killing him? Am predicting a Charlie return to get his son back. God Sharon and her widening eyes..she acts out everything doing that, anger, confusion, disbelief...

The80sweregreat · 16/01/2017 20:44

Phil is a legend. He is a fab soap actor. (Agree the beard needs to go. )

It was nice that it didnt end up a slanging match and he could see her pov. Thats a first in EE.
Poor D, poor child.
Also agree about Jack - dot didnt deserve that. Poor Dot.
Witless is getting my nerves.

Optimist1 · 16/01/2017 20:49

I, too, saw it as Phil deciding against keeping Baby Spud. Anything else would be too complex, surely? As a point of accuracy, would a random bloke (which Phil would have been to the nursing staff) been allowed to wander in and pick up a baby like that?

I'm finding Glenda's involvement entirely unbelievable given how little involvement she had in her daughters' and grandchildren's lives up to now.

nancy75 · 16/01/2017 20:55

I think Glenda is planning to make a move on Jack.
If Phil decided to keep the baby he wouldn't be adopting it, he is the real dad. I think Phil is going to struggle with this decision, he could well change his mind.

nancy75 · 16/01/2017 20:56

Is Twitney stalking Mick? She follows him round with her big fake lashes fluttering at him, she really needs to stop it

dingdongdigeridoo · 16/01/2017 20:57

I always thought it was ridiculous when Phil was allowed to look after his granddaughter by social services. Someone gets shot in that house every few months and they've all pretty much done time, but nah you take the kid.

NoisyBrain · 16/01/2017 20:57

squirrel I seem to recall an episode where Vincent proved to Roxy that Charlie was still alive somewhere by letting her speak to him on the phone.

The80sweregreat · 16/01/2017 20:58

Sharon has been very reasonable about this, even if they were ' on a break' at the time of spuds conception!
She has put up with a lot with him. Not sure many women would in real life!

i have a hunch Dot will be ringing Charlie - ( i have no idea, but she might now)

TheMockingbird · 16/01/2017 21:03

Grin Twitney!

Yes, glad Potato Snr didn't do the whole 'but fahhhhmily, he's a Mitchell' thing tonight. I am warming to Shaz and her perma-astonishment. She is reasonable at times.

I too think Glenda is going to make a pass at Jack

MrsBotox · 16/01/2017 21:04

As an adoptive mum I know the lengths you have to go to to be 'approved' as an adopter. Phil would have no rights re mini-Spud and SS wouldn't allow new adopters from same street as real mum.
Phil is an aggressive, abusive, alcoholic, neglectful, failed parent with a documented history of dodgy dealings. No way would he and Shabon be seen as suitable adopters. Anyway, baby Spud already earmarked for another couple.
Anyway, can't see him as dad to a mixed-race baby - he is prob a closet racist as well as all his other flaws.

Akire · 16/01/2017 21:08

Did anyone else think the black lady pushing Pram and white guy with her were adoptive parents? Though think they go foster parents for least 6 weeks, which never made sense with regards to bonding
