I have met a few like this, but one sticks in my memory - lack of empathy oozed from her. Her life was way more exciting, traumatic or a problem than anybody else. She had little time for anyone who isn't her family - list goes on. They are so unaware of it all too - must be bliss to live in such a bubble!

Getting very fed up with EE writers thinking we are all imbeciles. Sharon saying she will go and live in Florida and can get a job etc. Yeah how. On a 3 month ESTA. Lauren and Peter went to NZ on the spur of the moment. No-one ever applies for visas, claims JSA, CB, Tax credits or goes and gets proper debt help. Even the basic stuff of all the plentiful local jobs and houses that are like black holes with their space. Ive been watching EE since the 80s (with a few breaks in the middle) but I don't know if I can take much more of this.

I think Mick's present was something like a seat from the old West Ham stadium. Some kind of souvenir anyway.

Considering Mik has pay back big loan for getting MIL home and Lees debts, why haven't they moved back across the road onto their empty bedroom? Surely you would? He's on min wage and was struggling before. No hope of extra to pay anything off.

Considering she's also Lilly auntie then they have 2 spare rooms from Kyle and Blunda they could move in share rent and have extra £500 towards debts.

re Phil's birthday - the only thing I found was a YouTube clip called Happy Birthday Phil dated 20th January 2012, so it seems it is about to happen. I think Sharon made some comment about having been uncertain that he would have another birthday before he had the transplant.

Another thing grinding my gears is the fact that as far as I'm aware, there has been literally no mention of Lisa since Louise came to stay with Phil. I know they had fallen out, but Louise is only 14/15 - can't believe she's done something so terrible that her mum wouldn't even want to see her over Christmas.

Does Louise know that her mum once shot her dad?

Lisa didn't visit Louise in hospital when a building fell on her either. No explanation was given and we know that Lisa lives in or near London as I remember a crazy scene of Phil walking into Louise's school with a big bag of cash.

remember Lisa being feisty. Is it credible that after bringing up Louise by herself for fourteen years, she figures it is Phil's turn? I don't have teenagers but after a particularly stressful day with toddlers, I think after years of it, it might be plausible.

Ho' toddlers push us to the limit and teens the same, but i could not just abandon them to the fate of being a Mitchell in the square without at least seeing them.
The louise thing was weird, from her dad marching round her old school with a bag o' cash to her just moving in with them all in the space of a few weeks ( and getting in a new school too) as well as going from devil teen to nicer teen too. Peggy used to see lisa she said once - she could always meet up with her dd away from the square! ( in the park , or up town). The writers seem to have forgotton she has a mum! ( and nothing about lexi is mentioned either after. Weeks of phil fighting for her )

Nuchelle couldn't be an English teacher. For God's sake she said 'I was sat in the room'. Wrong tenses. I was sitting or I sat. Pisses me off and I was an English teacher.
Also, when is Denise going to be swallowed alive by her amazing, dancing wig? It gets bigger in every scene.

Nuchelle character is dreadful- appalling acting, storyline drivel. She looks more like a policewoman in plain clothes. No warmth or connection to other characters, accent awful.
Lee is a pain in the arse and it is beyond me what Whitney would see in him. I have never felt less sympathy for a character than I have for him. Completely unlikeable.
