Coming to the thread late but I thought Denise's baby was by Carmels son, the older one (sorry don't know his name)

The baby is Phils, although she was having a fling with Kush when she found out she was pregnant so thought it was his at first

not No D thought he was but the dates didn't add up.

Wouldn't the adoptive couple be at the hospital to see the baby? I thought they usually were so baby could get used to their voices and smell.

It doesn't happen like that in the uk the baby will need to be processed through social services

I thought Kim acted exceptionally well, very realistic reaction there.

I agree it was a realistic reaction from Kim, but she spoke to Denise like she was something Kim had trod on. Really awful comments but probably common ones from people in similar RL situations.

If I had a baby and told my mum, at the birth, that I was putting it up for adoption her reaction would make Kim look like a kitten! I think it's realistic that her family would go a bit mad and not be happy or understand

Denise was brilliant in tonight's episode. Her little chat with her baby was very moving. I hope she changes her mind.

Yeah they were awful comments but there was truth in it too. Kim had asked to adopt the baby months ago and Denise decided to adopt the baby out! just because of Phil? Kim had every reason to be hurt and angry.

Kim also doesn't know it's Phils baby, so to her the reason is she is not good enough

But i can see why D did it too. I may be in the minority though ( and its only a soap) real life is much harder of course.

Denise had practically just finished giving birth when Kim forced her to look at the baby even though Denise said she didn't want to. I also think calling her a 'cold-hearted bitch' was going way too far even for Kim.

D is 47 i get that she felt she couldnt keep him im nearly her age i couldn't do babies again
