i dont mind Carmel really, she had promise when she was with Masood, but obviously not done that good a job of bringing up the awful Shakil!
Kush is okay, although he has lost his way a bit since the whole Shabnam, still born stacy triangle thing and is now subject to just being Martians mate and going in the vic. He should rescue his son from the party that he went to on his own.
Donna is underused really and the others are just hanger ons at the market. The loss of clothes and things they sell will run into the tens of pounds.

The whole episode felt like a bizarre mix of Grange Hill and Casualty. I don't really get what this new guy in charge is going for.

it was a very confused episode really - you rarely see anyone out of the square, if they go on the tube you just see the ticket machine or the stairs. or they leave in a cab.

Suddenly they are all out, the school has to shut, children i didnt even know travelled there by bus, are now on a bus - Tina suddenly wins a photo shoot 'competition' on the same day for Tina and co to sneak off to? Billy and jay are out of the square too. Denise, who hasnt been out the square in years, is on the same bus as the kids? All on the same day a bus driver has a heart attack? the odds eh? the odds. lol The new producer is determined to get shot of people he doesnt like ( so soon after R and R too!)

I'm not sure what this new producer is trying to achieve. Once characters are killed off there is no opportunity to give them a chance to come back. I think all this coming back from the dead is pretty stupid and grim.
I wonder if he is planning on bringing a whole load of new characters, that hopefully are interesting
