The80's It was a few years back, NW, a crane went through the front of the top deck. No injuries apart from cuts from the glass and the driver hurt their neck but nothing major. 2 people had been sat in the seats the crane thing hit but had got off two stops earlier luckily. Can't have been 50mph. Just felt like it.

Buses are not that safe really , no seatbelts and very juddery when its full and loads of traffic. I use them, but its never a pleasure.
It did seem a bit disjointed last night - suddenly the market is moving - a lot of the regulars all decide to go out, the school has to shut.. etc etc. seems very cobbled together and not well thought out.
Its not even their anniversary till Feb.. lol.

I think they're rare 80's, bus drivers are very good at what they do. First time I've even heard of a bus near Albert Square, let alone seen one. Where's the bus stop supposed to be? Clearly not under the bridge.

Going on strike from your self employed job on a rented market stall is one of the most absurd ideas I've heard Martin come up with.

Yy, that scene with Martin, a self-employed stall holder who rents his pitch from the Council, ans with rent to pay on his London home, shouting about going on strike was absurd.

We have a railway bridge over a road near here and it's a regular occurence for drivers of high lorries to ignore the Max Headroom signs and crash into it getting stuck. Traffic chaos ensues. Closer inspection reveals that there's a metal girder thing attached to the underside of the bridge so that the bridge itself doesn't suffer any damage when these things occur. So I'm confident that the scriptwriters won't be daft enough to add a derailed tube to the carnage in the Square. Trust me ...

Agree plus all bridges have number signs so one call tompolice would alter transport for London straight away. Luckily it's not railway children!

Everyone on the bus looked ok, so unless the bridge collapses before they can get out they should all be alive ( I think the bridge collapse is likely although not realistic - we have a low rail bridge locally that has been hit by a bus and more than one lorry, it's never fallen down!)

Sadly I think both Sausage & Leek will live to spoil another day ( although hopefully the Mac will be damaged beyond repair)
