Will the new exec producer lose his obsession with bins?
Has Max really forgiven Jane, Ian and Phil?
What secret does the new 'Chelle have?
Will Johnny Sausage learn to act?
Is Denise going to go through with the adoption?
What's going to happen with Lee?

DH and I said the same- really good episode but who's kids would play in their rooms for that long without questioning it or asking where their mum is?

Akire · 02/01/2017 22:54

I'm
Guessing you are identified by next of kin so husband would take higher card over mother. But Roxy would need close relative. Suppose also to "see" her too

Reality16 · 02/01/2017 23:00

So where's Matthew going to end up. Charlie has done a bunk, so dot or Glenda? why would he get sent anywhere? It's not unheard of for someone to raise a kid that isn't biologically theirs. Maybe he will just stay with Jack.

celeste84 · 02/01/2017 23:28

I'm wondering if we will even see Glenda again. Why was she not even anywhere to be seen on tonights episode?

Why the hell did it take so long for the police to go into Roxy's room before Max had chance to take the cocaine?

Max specifically told Sharon not to let everyone know about what happened until Jack had time to tell the kids. By the end of the episode the whole square knew....

I think we need another floor plan of Martin and Stacey's house to understand where Michelle will be sleeping Grin

HoHumming · 02/01/2017 23:33

Michelle is the next Pauline. But i think EE needs strong family type women and they don't have many. It is far better than ruining Stacey's character by it being her. EE can sometimes do the family orientated women quite well, for example Denise and Jane are great.

It still bugs me that Martin and Stacey, despite being down two lodgers, fine for money. I presume Michelle will pay her way and become a full time character.

I can't stand Mick and hope he goes off to visit Linda sometime soon!

I thought Max was deliberating over whether to show the drugs to Jack or not. I figured he thought Roxy was a kindred spirit and it would be better overall not to have her blamed for the tragedy. But did Abi see the drugs? We all know she can't keep quiet so it won't be the last of that storyline.

Will Honey become Jack's kids full time childminder?

EnidButton · 02/01/2017 23:46

Kind of hope Charlie comes back for Matthew. I liked Charlie.

Jack was good tonight! Shock I actually felt sorry for him and you know how I feel about Jack usually. Max was good too, quite glad to see him back.

I wasn't shocked or moved by the wedding episode but I'd seen a spoiler so that's maybe why. It just felt a bit contrived. As if Roxy would nearly ruin a wedding over something as small as that and as if Honey would knock on the honeymoon suite door 5 minutes after newly weds had gone on to say the kids needed a story. They're shagging, Honey, piss off. I know they have to bend things a bit but could be come up with better ways to get them to the pool surely.

So it's all Honey's fault.

I also thought SW was pregnant but I think it's just that EE tend to swamp their actresses in fabric if they put a couple of pounds on. Like they do with Sharon. The dress had to have an obviously huge train too. I think it got sucked into a vent and strangled her. Not sure about Roxy. Drugs? Banged her head?

I don't like Michelle. Can't believe it's Michelle for a start but also, was she always that annoying and like Pauline? She's acting like she's Martin's perfect housewife. Confused I liked the faces Stacey was pulling.

Baylisiana · 02/01/2017 23:49

It was a real ' SIL...aibu?' moment when Michelle changed the dinner plans.

I am sad that Ronnie and Roxy have left. I wish they could have left it open for their return. Also annoyed that because of spoilers all over the press I knew what was going to happen, it would have been such a good twist if I hadn't. I couldn't really make out what happened underwater.....was that me or was it meant to be obscure?

They really ratcheted up the fairytale connection, the shoe falling through the banisters and everything!

Since they were married before she died I guess Jack will keep Matthew in the absence of his father.

EnidButton · 02/01/2017 23:51

Bay Yes I think I would've viewed it really differently if I hadn't see what was coming. Wish I hadn't.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 02/01/2017 23:58

By the end of the episode the whole square knew...

I was thinking the same celeste but Max did say they could tell family. Since practically everyone on the square is related to either the Brannings or the Mitchells technically they did keep it to family!

HoHumming · 02/01/2017 23:59

I wonder if they are lining it up so a disgruntled Stacey will get fed up with her interfering SIL and turn to Max to escape?

DeleteOrDecay · 03/01/2017 00:14

I think the only people who don't know about R&R are the Carters, unless I missed that part.

Yes to 'Chelle taking over dinner and changing plans being a proper AIBU moment, could just imagine Stacey escaping to the bathroom to quickly rant on mn about the situation and the replies that might followGrin

I really hope she doesn't get 'involved' with Max again. That horse has been beaten far too many times now and her and Martin make a great couple.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 03/01/2017 00:55

Yep and the Carters are the only ones that aren't faaaaamily. Although Whitney is an adoptive Branning!

MakeItStopNeville · 03/01/2017 01:11

I hope they bring Charlie back and can have a whole custody battle with grieving Jack refusing to hand Matthew over. And Charlie will tell the whole world what Ronnie did. Fingers crossed anyway because if Ronnie dies some sort of Albert Square Saint, I'll throw a rock at my computer.

DeleteOrDecay · 03/01/2017 01:27

Oh and the Fox's! I don't think they got told either did they?

CondensedMilkSarnies · 03/01/2017 01:30

Neville what did Ronnie do?

DeleteOrDecay · 03/01/2017 01:38

Oh nothing, just murdered a couple of people. That's allGrin

tobee · 03/01/2017 02:42

Like AMillionMiles I kept obsessing about what had happened to baby Matthew the next morning! And then the children not coming down when back home. I wouldn't be surprised if the children are told off screen what happened. It would surely be very hard for the children to react to that as actors?

I wish Nancy (and Tamwar) would come back.

Also, can anyone remember what Kathy and Chelle's relationship was like when old Michelle was in it? I don't remember at all.

DeleteOrDecay · 03/01/2017 02:46

Yes I wondered if the telling of the children would be done off screen as it might be difficult for them to act out the scenes well enough. Not that I don't think they're good actors but that sort of thing is always going to be difficult to get right with young children.

Michelle was a bit before my time I think, I don't remember the old one at all.

DeleteOrDecay · 03/01/2017 02:47

Also I have come to the conclusion that Matthew must have been having a nap throughout the whole episode. It's the only logical answer!

JustAnotherSilentOldNumber · 03/01/2017 07:40

Not that I don't think they're good actors

some of them are terrible.

SoupDragon · 03/01/2017 07:50

I think we need another floor plan of Martin and Stacey's house to understand where Michelle will be sleeping

No need - three beds upstairs, one downstairs and Blinda and Kyle have buggered off. Apart from the obvious rent deficit, there are no issues with their house right now!

SoupDragon · 03/01/2017 07:50

I managed to avoid every single spoiler in relation to this storyline.

Eminybob · 03/01/2017 07:56

Where is the downstairs bedroom?

Eminybob · 03/01/2017 07:58

Soup did you not know they were going to die at all?
I knew they were but thought they were going to fall off the roof as there has been a picture of them say up there're drinking champagne doing the rounds for ages.

LineyReborn · 03/01/2017 08:06

I avoided the spoilers, too. I live a sheltered life.
