A new thread for the new year Smile

Will the truth come out about how Roxy and Ronnie died yesterday?
Will the new exec producer lose his obsession with bins?
Has Max really forgiven Jane, Ian and Phil?
What secret does the new 'Chelle have?
Will Johnny Sausage learn to act?
Is Denise going to go through with the adoption?
What's going to happen with Lee?
What are your hopes for EE this year?

Come and discuss here!

Oh God and all this skyping Linda ... as if she wouldn't come home what with Lee's snottery, a double funeral to cater for and Johnny Sausage's existential angst.

She sat on Aunt Sal's lap and they travelled by wheelchair.

Linda is better off out of it really.
Once she finds out about Lee and the robbery business will be inconsolable !

I think they should have killed Lee off. He irritates me no end, the lanky stream of piss that he is. I want to throw cushions at the telly every time his snivelling face comes on.

There is a condition called cold shock when you can dive into cold water and the shock causes you to inhale water and drown. Drunk diving wasn't the best idea.

It was a bit gung ho to dive in, don't most people lower themselves in gradually, holding onto the steps and gasping "ooh it's freezing" or maybe that's just me?

Roxy never was one for making sensible considered decisions though.

It should have been Lee dropped on his head and not Oli Grin

I remember when R and R came into Eastenders. They were supposed to be exciting characters with everyone taking notice but I never found Ronnie believable as the tough woman she tried to portray. And she had an annoying voice. I'm glad they've gone. I found some of their story lines painful and not very realistic.

Maybe Mick won't tell Linda about Lee organising for his family to be terrorised, assaulted and robbed blind, what with her being so upset about her mum. ?
It's not the best news to deliver over Skype Sad

The 80s We have a pool and it took me bloody ages to find a sign with No heavy Petting on it. But it's now proudly hanging on the pool house shed door.

I lost, i do this even in hot places ( whilst being told to just dive in and stop being a wimp) and take ages to get used to the cold.
Roxy and I are not alike.
R and R - They were fun characters at first, but it went downhill fairly quickly. The intoduction of Archie didnt help at all. (At least Stacey finished him off! )
The baby swap was a real low.

Have been so disinterested in EE for a long time but was gripped by last night's ending. I was convinced they were going for a Thelma and Louise ending with Ronnie and Roxie driving off together, but clearly it was a lot sadder Sad

I know they where both drunk, but had Roxie taken any coke before the pool? That would have contributed to her death, surely.

Make it , well done! I loved the man in the cartoon. It sticks in my memory from school lessons ( that were grim indeed) it made me smile !

flib roxy hadn't taken any coke that day, she was thinking of it but stopped herself. She did the night before though so it would still be in her system.

Neville I'm glad you're allowing some light petting Wink

Whitney knows Lee tipped off his 'mates' that there would be a large sum of cash in the pub. He told her he just wanted them to like him Hmm

Yes I noticed Sharon's awful reject from the 80's dress, all black chiffon, diamonte off the shoulder straps and billowing cuffs. She does have great legs though. I wonder what Shirley would have said, she would have had a field day Grin

Totally agree that Shirley needs a good storyline, she's a wonderful actress and seems really wasted on the show at the moment. I also really like Tina.

The two of them running the pub on their own would be wonderful.Grin

Shazza is a bit stuck in 80s. She always looks well groomed though. Her hair is hardly ever messy! Shirley n tina running a pub would be fun, but i think shirl would drink the profits ! ( she is a co owner i think?)
