Hmm, her arrival did coincide with the aftermath of the election..

All the stealth boasting about dishwashers, cleaners and big gardens won't win you any favours, Chelle. Most people in the Vic don't own a humble washing machine.
Perhaps it's all bollocks; her house is being repossessed, she's up to her eyeballs in debt, her cleaner hates her and left weeks ago and she's wanted for credit card fraud.

The only thing that nu chelle does that is a little bit like the 'old' chelle is when she rubs her hand or finger on her face and wraps her cardie about her person, I can recall the old one doing this ( as Pauline did the cardie thing too)
Thinking about it, cardigans without buttons are a pain, I do that with them as well. its a cardie habit obviously. I blame EE.
Johnny does look a bit lost - no story, Ben making advances on the quiet, babe bullying him, not doing anything to stop people taking out expensive loans , being told to 'put the lap top down', he needs a new life really.

I thought Michelle must have money problems. Wasn't there a scene of her coming out of a pawnbrokers/cash for gold type place recently. Shortly afterwards she announced she was going back to Florida.

I'm assuming all her chatter about having a cleaner is to show the higher you rise, the greater you fall?

I think if Johnny stopped talking in monotone and made some facial expressions it would definitely help.

I'm sorry to hear you have now picked up a cardi habit, 80's and have taken to wrapping the front around yourself and walking about with your arms folded. Just don't start looking at your phone and sighing as well.

I do all of the above lol, especially when its a text from husband or children ( usually starts with ' can you do...'
agree about Sausage, he isn't great. he makes Lee look good!

Johnny does make Lee look good. I don't feel he can talk in anything other than a monotone or make facial expressions though. He does look like he could be Danny Dyer's son and that's about it. He's also wetter than Lee which shouldn't be possible. He makes me want to shake him. I can't bring myself to call him Sausage as it seems insulting to sausages. I'm usually much more forgiving of new heads than I feel about Nuchelle and Johnny. Haven't reacted like this since Joshua Pascoe took over from Charlie Jones.

A hint about Nuchelle's story was the DM Sidebar of Shame this morning. that will teach me to look at that crap! Thankfully the title didn't really give anything away but don't go browsing the sidebar if you don't want to know!

I don't suppose Sharon is going to be able to be much of a friend to Michelle anymore as will be wrapped up with the Denise baby story.

Has Michelle spoken to Doy yet? We haven't seen them drinking tea and reminiscing which is very odd as Dot was her mother's long term colleague and friend. She is planning to go back without even visiting Dot. Very odd esp as she is hanging around trying to fill her days while everyone gets on with their daily grind.

Oh dear, so I may be right then and Michelle will hang around for a while longer! I have my own theory that Mark's other dad has found out he isn't his, but that's only a guess.( It would make sense seeing as mark went back home pretty quickly after meeting 'Grunt' and discovering his parentage.) and going by that weird phone call that Stacey heard.
I bet her husband has now cut her off from the cleaner, the gardener and the fluffy florida towels and she is nearly penniless once again. Back to the cardboard towels of old - ( those fluffy 80s towels did not exist)

How could Tim ever have thought he was Mark's dad though? Mark would have to have been born full-term at about 20 weeks, if Michelle left Walford whilst already knowing she was pregnant and then meeting Tim in the US and shagging him.

Yeah I assumed that Mark thought he was Tim's but that Tim didn't think Mark was his. But maybe he's pissed off that Mark's found out.

It wasnt made clear how far gone Michelle was when she took off to America and her cleaner. I thought it was a few weeks, so she met Tim fairly quickly. She is a fast worker as well as being a good liar! Long marriage by soap standards though.

According to Wiki, Michelle had Mark Jnr in Alabama, then moved to Florida and married Tim - so Tim's always known he's not the dad.

I made the mistake of telling the kids it would snow today so they're really disappointed! (Pouring with rain here).

Also, if Nuchelle moved home, where will Ian/Sharon/Martin etc. go when they have trouble in the Square?? 'Florida to stay with Chelle' seems to be the default destination when they need to get away.

The actress who plays nuChelle is great - with some newbies in a soap it takes them a while to become good at their job, especially if they're young, but she's excellent. And I know she's a respected theatre actress.

But she just isn't Michelle because some characters like her are so iconic I can only think of them played by the original actor.

Dunno, if Chelle moves to Barking or Tower hamlets ( when she really pisses off stacy ) it wont be as exciting as Florida. They wont be that keen to go there. Have to go to NZ to see Peter instead ( if he is still around ..) or France to visit Kyle.
Or even the dreaded ONGAR! If jack goes.

agree southeast. If you're googling yourself Nuchelle actress, it's not your fault, you are fine - it's the scriptwriters changing Michelle's character!!

Agree about martin. But Michelle is just an imposter.
I think it is because she was in it in the beginning and such a huge character.
I cant take to her at all.

She's a good actress. They've wasted her on Michelle. I can't see the character being kept for that long like Martin was. His character is the same and it was easy to believe he was Martin fairly quickly. Michelle is totally different. I know people change but...

They should've created a brand new character and had her play it. Could do with some newbies to make up for all the ones they've got rid of.

Mind you they don't seem to appreciate good actors like they should. The woman who played Pam was an amazing actress. She shouldn't have gone.
